So what do you really think of them? First off being tomatoes and then to a very lesser extent, rice...according to the BTD in 1996. Has anything changed since 1996? When you eat them, do you want MORE afterwards, or, no effect?

If i eat tomatoes I don't crave more.  But some other foods that are high on carbs have that effect on me.

How true. Some days I wonder why God even bothered inventing carbs, which can be very addictive.

Tomatoes are a neutral for me and I do consume them regularly during their season.  I do not "crave" tomatoes but I do love them when they are fresh from the organic farm with olive oil and sea salt.

The carbs G-d created aren't so addictive; it's what humans did with the plants (both agricultural tinkering and processing after harvest) that makes some of them addictive. Wholesome, natural foods, prepared by traditional methods, tend to be quite healthy. Of course, not all foods are beneficial for all individuals, but all of us can eat carbs to one degree or another as part of a healthy diet. I'm sure you had plenty of carbs  via breastmilk or formula as an infant, which your body definitely needed at the time for proper growth and development!
