I never cared for soup, only drank it when I was ill.. then I had to have it to get better..

Now I am making the easiest broth soup every 2 days..

salt cayenne other benficials spices,, water and throw in some meat I cut of from the top round I buy.. I cook that for hours.. to make the broth.. I dont eat that meat/skin or fat as it is all cooked out..

Then in the morning I cut up 1 skinny carrot, a small broccoli or a small piece of a sweet potato, a mall piece of of celery, or a slice of peppers or whatever veg I have - parsley and cellery - and add to the broth..

or I add kale leaves and nothing else or whatever I desire.. the next day.. .

-ALL Beneficial or Super B.. cook them for 5 minutes they look so green and orange and yellow add a little olive oil.. and mhhhh

then I add a little cold water so it gets cooled off faster.. and I sit and eat.. for breakfast or brunch up to no later than 11.30..

That then allows my reg lunch meat and veg.. at some point and afternoon (4-5) a second meat and veg meal if need be.. and then supper (6-7) if need be the same or just eggs..

I find that I most often I don't need the 3rd or meal.. ( to me the soup and veggies are more or less calorie free) I eat to be full and drink the broth..

I am much more at piece.. and its easy eating.. I added some prunes for sweet and actually lost 3 pounds.. nice..

I love this way of delayed eating.. I used to do eggs in the am and look forward to lunch.. now I hardly have to think of food, and I still have the whole afternoon of meals to look forward to..

and my meals are much smaller.... I am so satisfied.. and I sleep better too..

Being here is invaluable, but not enough. We need ALL the Doctors. I needed them for a very small cancer spot-I could never feel!!! Please do your mammograms! Doing so saved me from cancer later on. I am grateful! Thanks for learning from my experience! I was lucky! I wish the same for YOU!

Sounds yummy!
My friend in Canada has a little guy with Juvenile Diabetes. Her naturopath gave her a both simple recipe for supporting immune system. I've been making it for years and find it so delicious, hot or cold. And has only 5 ingredients:

4 X 4 piece of beef liver (or substitute).
1 green pepper
1 tomato
1red onion
1 bunch cilantro or parsley

Bring to boil in quart of water, simmer 20-30 minutes, strain and drink. Very nouishing.

I really love big breakfast's that look like dinners. My husband and kids always tease me, saying my plate looks like it's Thanksgiving! Veggie's and meat in the morning help me alot, but i know it is not appealing for many.

I'd love the measurements and quantities for that so i could do a slightly different version as

beef liver is a black dot on swami
green pepper doesen't agree with me
tomato ia an aviod
onion are a diamond
cilantro & parsley are diamonds.

how old is the receipe as perhaps the ingredients have changed status?

don t believe the naturopath in this picture follows GT or BTD, no worries
it s a general recipe you can tweak according to you if need be

policy checker: i see what you are saying! I am also gatherer....but am following the BTD, so everything on that list is ok for me. i don't know enough about genotype diet and when or why one should switch, but someone suggested i take the test that indicates one way or another if i should follow BTD or GTD and it very strongly came out as following BTD. so for now that is what i will do. what other things would indicate changing to GTD?? just asking because i don't have a clue, except to try/testing different foods from the gatherer diet and see that goes for me. i'm very confounded by my gatherer status as i don't seem to fit the description so for now sticking with BTD and adding some diamonds from GTD might be my best course. sorry i couldn't be more helpful, but mabye just pick a few veggies that ARE diamonds for you and whatever meat source and do something similar....say, mushroom,kelp,celery,zucchini,onion....and small hunk either mutton, goat, lamb, ostrich and just do same thing...oh parsley/cilantro definitely. of course you could eat the meat later, but try a few combinations of veggies you can eat, i bet it will be equally satisfying and nutritious and comforting. this is all making me so hungry!!

Stargate:  If I were you, I'd follow either the BTD or the GTD, but not a mixture of both, unless you get the SWAMI done - in which case I'd follow that!  Sinc ethe test said for you to follow the BTD, I'd do that until I had the chance to get SWAMI done.

I have had the idea of BROTH in my head as I learned that if you cook the vegetables into the soup then all the goodness is in there..

I can then eat it.. a plate of freshly added veggies cook for 5 minutes small cut or..
I can rotate all the veggies I have and blanch them just enough to eat half raw.. the idea is to make the broth -- in my case meat-- cooked until all of it's goodness is in the broth..  I LIKE the idea of the broth for breakfast.. after 40 years of eggs I like the change.. and it feels satisfying,, while being low 'carb'.. low sugar and no limit to the amounts.. .. I can have bowl after bowl..

I use most of the veggies that don't look so perfect first.. but any veg will do and any combo .. it all leaves a taste of each.. and most important I get it all pre digested ready to be absorbed by my intestines..  I am shocked how well I feel ..

ABJoe: Ok! I'm good with that) Would it 'hurt' to add diamond foods in the meantime?? I guess you are saying, maybe it would. Ok, it does sound reasonable to wait til i do the swami. thanks for the tip!

I Know Goldie, I was having a laugh there darling. I think M actually picked her face from habit today, apart from that one blip she had a grea day.

The secretor test makes a big difference. i think maybe your are reading the blood type diet, which is great but the "live right for your type is better but along the same lines except it takes into account more of the NON secretor issues. once you then get that sorted, you will be on your way to having the right way of thinking to go for Geno then swami which are basically the same except that swami makes it so much easier to do, but i'f still buy the Geno type diet book. before i get swami. and i have done exactly that . i started with the right for you blood type book, once i got the basic ideas i read the live right fot your type. they get you set up nicely to then study and follow the Geno diet which is the most up to date. the swami simplifies what you already know and then add a few more little tricks with greater detail.

long winded but you will get the idea. and feel free to message any specific queries you have at any time. it a learing curve for all of us and I'm happy to help.

If it is a diamond food on GTD and a Beneficial or neutral on BTD that you are following, then OK...  But if a food is an avoid on the diet you are following, then No - I wouldn't eat it.  Especially since the BTD was the earlier version but the test said to remain on it...  It MUST be better than the later version for you.

She may have had an itch under the skin causing her to "pick" at it.  I usually rub mine rather than pick or scratch these...  They are caused by healing in the bone, etc.
