If Nonniehood is so negative in health terms why are Explorers (mainly nonnies) said to come from areas where people live the longest; Basque, Caucuses mountains? Perhaps when Dr. D' Adamo has not entirely figured out all of nonnie differences.
Mixing between Neanderthal and African lineage is my conclusion at this point in large part. It seems to have less to do with secretion in a lot of ways and more to do with the bad parts of Neanderthal mix. If you read up on Neanderthal genes and problems that seem to be expressed these days, associated with them, you will find a list of things that are more likely to be non-secreter problems. The people that resemble old Basque and Neanderthal people seem to have the lowest problems until rather old age. There are exceptions. Also perhaps the asymmetry that comes with Explorers is contradictory DNA traits between African and Neanderthal in the womb. I have noticed that many Explorers are very symmetrical but they all resemble the classic Neanderthal/Basque look. The ones that do not seem to be the ones with more problems, more asymmetry, less physical qualities that resemble Neanderthal/Basque. Benefits? I think eating the right stuff can make you extremely physically capable when healthy. I think the stamina quality can carry over. The ability for survival in harsher conditions seem to show sometimes. The survival traits seem to be negated by common day food that is abusive to the person though, often. I guess it depends as what you see as benefits. Type A non-secreters, Teachers seem to have greatly enhanced physical size and capability. The Warriors seem too resemble the more slow twitch Teacher not the fast twitch bulky secreter Warrior; they do not seem to be endo anything. The warrior non-secreter may not be as likely to cancer by being subject to eating meat, and benefit better from the meat when forced into it for food. Not to say there are not a ton of bad things, but not all seems to be horrid. I know the healing factor applies to me. Physical ailments I deal with better. My heightened sensitivities make me physically capable of a lot of things too. I can not speak for any other GenoType since I have no experience with them and secretion, yet. Anyways overall the lack of protection from being a non-secreter in today's world is not good overall I would say. It is an old thing and will not be societal useful until the next apocalypse and days of Mad Max living, if you ask me. Personally people may like some of the aspects but that is from person to person, has nothing to do with the grand picture. I still think secretion is a modern adaptation, but it seems Neanderthals genes are a little too strong to just surpass completely, over night. They have infiltrated relatively every society it seems. I think that says something about some early mixing. Genetics tell us we have some similarities they seem to increase over time with assumed ancestors. |

Well I guess that once again makes me a "non mold fitter". I do really really poorly on meat. I have had ovarian cancer and am only 28. I need to figure out what really I need to know about being a non secretor A Warrior. Is there any reading someone would suggest? |

It makes me what I am.. BUT I DID THE TEST.. and I LIKE my UNIQUNESS amongst millions of others.. I like rolling eyes I like fun and if you ask me our sex life can be great.. so what is your question?? |

Well you have to actually be having sex for your sex life to be great... but it sure was when I was having a sex life. lol
Just found out that I am a nonnie. So now I'm trying to figure out what that really means... All my stuff that was in storage is being brought to the house for me to sort through and store here... and in that stuff is all my books. So I'll have to read through my "Live Right" book to understand my unique nonnieness. |

welcome nonnie.. so nice to have you here.. as for a sex life.. its all in the intent.. get your stuff unpacked and then find a friend to go to town with.. or whatever.. but never talk of it in past tense.. no matter the realities.. I personally likee idea if taichi its such a powerful way to live and good for A's.. while other exercise is not really all so good.. |

Well my sex life will just be past tense for awhile. I'm living in the middle of no where and am just about to give birth. The dating pool here is non-existent. I will probably be here for the next 3 years at the most now. So... ya... I'll just have to remember the good times for now.
I like Pilates and yoga. That good exercise. Generally I just enjoy the laziness of being an A. lol |

Hi! I'm sort of new to the forum. I was on here a cuple of years ago. I have logged on under another name, and have just found out today that I am a non secretor. I have the BTD book, the Cook Right book, but so far haven't read the Live Right book. Is this the one I need for particulars about the NON diet, for type O?? |

Are there any benefits to being a secretor? You are what you are and finding out one is a nonnie explains a lot of issues that people are having. There are pros and cons to everything, this is also one of those things. Personally I think it's cool to be special. |

Live Right 4 Your Type introduced Nonniehood to the world and it definitely has the Nonnie food values in it. The http://www.dadamo.com/typebase4/typeindexer.htm on the website has the most current BTD values... |

Hi Lola, Hi everybody! I was under Tish, did so well from the BTD for a couple of years, that I didn't use this forum for a while. Then I had a heck of a time because when I logged on later, it said "e-mail already in use." So, I made up all new stuff, and here I am.
I now want to "tweek" this wonderful diet some more, and found out I'm a Non secretor, a bit of a surprise for me.I'll be on here more often. It's a wonderful place, with all you very supportive and well informed people! |

I don't know if I'm a nonnie or not, but I do seem to have a lot of the "nonnie sensitivities". So, even if I'm a secretor, I still have fibromyalgia and need to be extra-careful with my diet and environment.
What this sensitivity means, to me, is that I'll feel sick when I eat something bad for me. So then I have to be super careful about what I eat or I'll feel the effects immediately. It's uncomfortable, but I really have no choice but to clean up my diet. The alternative is to be barely functioning.
Meanwhile, others can eat toxins and not know it. They think they're "fine", when in reality deeper problems are occurring in their bodies. Things like cancer are more likely to develop in people who don't realize they're poisoning themselves and keep on doing so. |
