My daughter had a catscan today and found out that there was increased density or swelling in a sinus cavity. She is to have an MRI or MRA on WED..
Has anyone had anything similiar to this which they could share?
much appreciated

elad...I am sorry to hear that your daughter has had dull pains in her head for years. Headaches are not fun. What blood type is she and does she follow BTD? Debra |

Great that she had a couple of years at home to follow the diet. I take it she had the dull aches at home too. As an O nonnie myself, I had sinus problems before BTD. Dairy and sugar were the big culprits there. I hope everything goes well with her MRI/MRA. Does your daughter see a chiropractor or an osteopath? Debra |

She does see a chiropractor, but I don't know if she mentioned anything about the dull aches in her head to him.
what is the herb--collinsonia canadensis for? Is it mentioned in any blood type books??

http://www.4yourtype.com/prodinfo.asp?number=NP009Collinsonia (stoneroot) great reliability in assisting to stabilize the lining on the sinus cavities
I use it often. I still have chronic sinus issues even though I had endoscopic surgery. When I stick to the BTD and use the neti pot, I'm usually okay. But with three cats, a dog, and seasonal pollen, I'm at my tipping point. One teensy pint of Ben & Jerry's ice cream is all it takes to fill up and block my sinuses. Collinsonia definitely helps me. |
| My SWAMI diet is a blend of BTD and GTD Explorer, but I'm not totally compliant. Also I try to choose foods that have a Low Glycemic index. DW and DD are A+, probably also Explorer. |
