I did a little digging and I found out that there's a natural source for the enzyme fucosyl transferase... which, to my understanding, is what isn't genetically produced in nonnies, that they would otherwise need to cause secretion of their blood type antigen.  

And the source is the root tip cells of the corn plant.  Apparently, the roots of corn are covered in a thick slime as they grow, down deep in the soil, and the cells of their tips are what produce the fucose that the slime is enriched with.

If the lack of this enzyme is what causes nonnies to not secrete their antigen, then would capsules of corn root tip cells work?  Or would it not work, because even the root tips of corn might cause inflammation?  If so, could there be other, neutral or beneficial plants whose root tip cells also produce fucosyl transferase?

If something like this could be cultured, I think it might really help a lot of people...

Ron-O-Non, the answer to your question might be in this report published by Japanese scientists. I read through it briefly just now as I don't have the time right now to read it all. My understanding so far is that the enzyme exists in both secretors and non-secretors but a mutation of the gene that activates the enzyme exists in non-secretors resulting in de-activation of the enzyme. So it sounds more genetically driven and may not be as simple as ingesting the enzyme. Please read through and correct me if I'm wrong about that. Or, maybe you've already read it in your diggings...
