Well, I'd been feeling pretty good for a few days, and even had a great workout last night. But today, just a few hours ago, I opened up a thing of salted rice cakes and ate three of them, and laid down for a nap.
When I woke up, voila. Serious neck pain... right at the very top of my neck. I haven't had neck pain in quite a while, either.
Yep; I'm a nonnie. |

Too much grain, I think. One toasted one each day spread with almond butter/crushed walnuts works for me. But eating even one by itself will mess up my balance. I know that food combining theories will not agree, but I never eat grains without some protein with them, and a little fat helps also. |

What brand were they? I've heard tale that Quaker rice cakes can be contaminated with wheat, though I haven't noticed it myself, probably just got lucky. I try to buy other brands whenever possible. |

I actually think they were wild rice cakes.
Also, does Deflect work on rice cakes, or is it just avoids? What I've started taking if I've had too many carbs, is this stuff called "gymnema". It seems to work for me very well... |
