Is any B on this board familiar with a herb that is great to clear the lungs of congestion for our non-secretor type? I realize I have higher IGe response because of this status and it's really irritating me lately. I am having way too many flare-ups. Thanks, Luana |

If there's mucus then u need Ginger tea and Expectorants to help break it up and exit it |

In addition to the above, one or two oven baked fresh apples every day. It's an old English remedy, specifically for 'wet' lungs. eh |

The core from Cabbage eaten raw can open things up - But I wouldn't really say its an 'expectorant' as such. Neti pot of Sea Salted water & a good Hot Bath....
Even though I am a Bee, what really helps is to stear clear from ALL dairy except fresh cultured like Joghurt and Kefir. Mind you my occasional mornin' cuppa gets a splash - but then I only use Whole Raw Jersey...the Pasteurized plugs me up. And yet another reason to Avoid White Flour.
Also, Chlorinated Water causes my nose to run....
To actually help heal the lungs, 'African Sea Coconut Cough Syrup' works great - but would be an untested Neutral. |

I'll have to look for that Yerba Sante because I have never seen it. I just bought some Horehound tincture compound today with some other herbs in it which I am not sure if they are avoids but I needed a quick remedy after inhaling some pain fumes.
I have not taken any uncultured dairy since these episodes and I guess I will have to steer clear of them from now on along with sugar and wheat and corn which is hard to do sometimes.
Thanks for you input gals! |
