Ok, so I found out that I am a nonnie, will I, like KK suggests, see good get better? I am 46, on the secretor plan since June of '03. I went from a size 12 to an 8, and stayed there. However, in that time, I went through a painless, but early menopause, and my waist thickened, and I got kind of jigglely. I just found out that I am a nonnie, and that wheat and sugar were now avoids, so I will be eating a bit more like my O family members. I am quite active, being a dog and horse owner, with the activity that goes along with those critters. So I really should be leaner than I am, that's why I sent for my secretor test. Thanks KK! I don't mean movie star thin, just not "thick".
Any suggestions on how to tweak my diet or exercise to "de-jiggle"? I have really attempted to lower my stress, and cortisol levels. I don't practice yoga, but I hike, walk, clean stalls, ride etc. I am hoping the reduction in wheat and sugar will lead to a reduction in my waistline! Any advise will really be appreciated.

I would consider following the more refined food guidelines in Dr. D's Health Series Book, Menopause.
You tighten up your neutrals a bit, (which basically means, you let go of those foods that don't really do much for you) and concentrate more on the bennies & super bennies.
Look at it this way: Knowing your secretor status helps you to refine your diet for the best possible life, and long range health. It means letting go of 25+ foods that were allowed, and learning to enjoy those that are now added to your plate.
I think you even get to have lamb, correct? I'd be dancin'!
Knowledge is power. SWAMI gives you the diet that will unlock the key to better health, and it's all based on your unique individuality.
Yep KK, I get to splurge on lamb, yummy! I will look into the menopause book, thanks.
Thanks for the dairy tip Lola, I eat no dairy products at all, even yogurt gives me pimples. Pre BTD I drank a lot of milk and ate a lot of dairy (it was supposed to help you lose weight, NOT!), and my complexion was terrible. Within a week of stopping dairy, I lost 5 pounds and my face started to clear up. Yippee! So I will for sure continue to avoid dairy!

This is great that you know your secretor status, and yes, I think you'll find that things get better with the fine tuning. KK's advice is a good one, to work from the Menopause Book, if you want to lose weight and jiggles! It de-emphasizes many of the neutrals, classifying some as Infrequent Neutrals. We are encouraged to just consider them like avoids, or only an occasional treat.
Being free from wheat and sugar is a great liberation!! Cause for celebration!
