I have to say that I've been under enormous physical pain and stress lately and, after having introduced my family members to the whole BTD program, my mother told me to get on the BTD anti-stress protocol... particularly with respect to russian rhodiola, valerian, and maitake mushroom for non-secretors.
Well, I tried it, and it works like a charm. I can sleep now, and the pain in my arm disappears every time I take the supplements. |

I've had it since around September, if I recall correctly. It's in my left arm. |

Yeah, I actually went to the emergency room a few weekends ago, and they took an ECG, blood, and x-rays, and nothing was the matter. Then they gave me 2 mg of Ativan and all my pain stopped.
Apparently I have some pretty severe anxiety or something. |

Ronagon, aren't you a drummer? (the arm thing) or was it musician... BTW, I'm gonna try the rhodiola & valerian. I'm stressed out, too. |

I have severe anxiety lately, can't sleep, tried melatonin and valerian and doesn't always help. Would the protocol help me as well? Or is it trial and error? Don't know if I'm secretor or nonnie so wondering if that has any implications. I also have muscle aches due to anxiety and tensing... |

You may need to exercise those muscles more to use the tension energy, so it stops manifesting as pain... The book "Mind over Back Pain" by Dr. John Sarno explains this more fully. |

Hi diffy, and it's good to see you around the Forum! The higher the level of compliancy possible is the first most important thing for any chronic condition, whether physical or emotional/mental. Getting your secretor status is the only way to know that you are not daily consuming avoids unintentionally. After that, the Protocols are absolutely fantastic. I have benefitted from them again and again. But if you continue to eat avoids, you will not experience the level of benefits that you may really need. |

Want a good way to deal with stress? Get a punching bag and punch 7-tons of c**p out of it! While your doing it, think of all the stuff that is stressing you. Maybe swear a little too out loud as your doing it.
The release you get it is supreme! |

Phred,
You have a point there. When I was doing that, I did feel better. Thanks. |
