Hi everyone,
Do any A Nonnies here have problems with whey protein isolate? My A Nonnie friend and I don't tolerate it, and wonder if anyone has any thoughts or suggestions.

I do not have problems with it, but I have a multitude of problems with soy protein isolate. Have you looked for other avoids, does it contain soy? |

I would cognizant that it is from a clean source, gmo-free, and it is favorable if it is organic. Alot of conventional dairy products contain pesticides, growth hormones, chemicals, toxins.
These items all get digested with consuming conventional dairy and all of its by-products.

Thank you for the responses so far. It doesn't contain soy and is quite pure. He gets headaches from it, even at low doses. Organic vs non organic doesn't seem to be an issue with this. Any more thoughts?

Perhaps try making a smoothie or shake using a whole foods base, instead of whey powder: whole eggs, nuts/seeds, nut butter, or an compliant protein source, add fruit and anything you desire.
Soy protein isolate is a highly refined food item that may cause stomach disstress for some individuals, this may be similar to the processing of whey.
I do not utilize whey, since it's an avoid for A secretors.

Whey protein isolate makes me have sharp stabbing pains in my abdomen. I do better with Rice protein powder, but usually all of the protein powders are too intense for me. I have to stick to whole natural foods to make smoothies with. |

Isa, which goat whey product are you using? I just ordered a large container of Mt. Capra mineral whey, which is a whole goat milk whey product. No isolates for me! I really believe that whole foods are best. |

I just gave one of my kilopacks to the client B Rh+ ( I bet he's a nonnie ) here in Zürich, he loves the taste and weew....after the second day he begun to reverse his weightloss and now we are going to stabilize it |

Other Ingredients: Proprietary blend of Goat Milk Whey Protein (Goat Milk Whey Isolates, Goat Milk Whey Peptides, Goat Milk Whey Concentrates, Cocca, Lecithin & Prosucro.
The product is sweetened. I contacted the company many months ago about the Prosucro ingredient to confirm that it was sucralose/spenda. They said yes. Therefore, I stopped considering the use of the product. I also asked them if they would consider making a unsweetened version of the product and they replied:

We are looking into that. It's hard though, because goat whey doesn't taste very well at all.

What was your reasoning to get the Capra Mineral Whey product versus either of the Caprotein or CapraMilk products? In other words, why the minerals versus the protein or whole goat milk products? Do you need the extra calcium or potassium? |

You're "Da Bomb", MoDon! That's a great question, and the truth is that I wasn't aware that the company made those other products. I ordered from another site that had a very good price. I would not get the CapraMilk, since I buy fresh goats' milk from a local farmer and make my own yogurt from it. The Caprotein is a product that I will definately keep in mind when I need a protein supplement. It looks like a fantastic and very pure product. Actually right now, I need the minerals and electrolytes from the Mineral Whey because I have been dealing with an excessive amount of stress and fatigue. |

Oh Isa, I forgot to tell you . . I bought some Enada NADH, and it is truly amazing stuff. Thank you so much for the recommendation to try it. I bought it 2 weeks ago because of your wonderful reports on it.
Yay! |

I'm taking Source Naturals, I believe. But there were a couple of brands in the HFS. The important thing seems to be that it is Enada and not just NADH. I think that is what Isa is referring to. It is powerful, and is not speedy like caffeine. It just gives stable energy. I hope it works as well for all the other blood types.
It has been one supplement that stands out for me as really working! |

hello Victoria, yeppers it is completely different from any kind of pushy...pushy things, we can't compare it to that....it is the zip-zap for the energy levels...key for building up the ATP....= cell energy ....completely inocif and it works for every type .......it is nothing else but a B3 derivate....stabilized to a form of a coenzyme....called coenzyme A .....and I think, that here also the question of a +++ of electrons is the key function ....... |
