In fact, my eyes are so pale that if I wear blue my eyes look really blue and if I wear green my eyes look really green. How can that be???
Patty, you probably have both blue and green in your eyes, and depending on what color you wear, that's the color it brings out in your eyes. I expect many people's eyes do that--change from blue to gray to green depending on what color they wear. Do you look best in warm or cool colors? |

I look best in cool colors. I am a winter from a color perspective, so I look best in bright colors. |

I don't think I have the original fillings any more. Mine have had to be replaced several times, som with crowns and one bridge. Thanks for the heads up! I will definitely check it out. |

Possum, this would be an excellent new thread. Why don't you start it, then people will know what kind of info you are looking for . . . I would be very interested, too, since dental work looms VERY large in my future. |

Lizzy.. that is not nonnie.. it is obsession?? sis does that to.. I wonder if she would be a nonnie if ever she was tested.. to funny all the stories.. I do have a ionizing air freshner, since I don't like cooking smells.. it runs 27/7 .. I never even think about it any more.. funy after reading all the posts.. Lola.. 80% clinic visitors are nonnies - that is quite interesting. I wonder what would happen if my reg Doc would ever read about nonnies.. maybe he would test his clients more often.. but then if you cure us all, then there is no need for more paid income visits.. but immagin the great reputation he could build up? as for TEETH and crowns and fillings and whatever .. it is a problem as there are few choices.. it's either the metals or the plastic.. no matter .. the only thing to do is prevent it .. and remember that every 15 - 20 years they need to be replaced.. nothing is forever..and it gets progressively worse.. in hine sight I wonder if I ever should have bothered rather then just get 'plates'.. I have big experience with teeth and the dentist can build a vacation home with my money, not to mention the pain I suffered from all the work and the implants.. no fun.. |
| When I see other peoples medicines schedule-I am happy to be here taking care of my health I only wish to drop weight more easily-life would be perfection Being 'here' creates understanding. BTD prevents damage from eating avoids. Thanks Dr D & your sups - all support and friendships |

Ack! The sensitivity! I remember as a kid the trouble my mother had with me when it was time to buy new shoes. NOTHING was comfortable. Shoe shopping was such an ordeal. And keep that scratchy wool ten feet away from my skin. I almost jump out of bed every morning when the hot water heater in the closet clicks on. Oh.....I could go on.
You know your a nonnie if...
The aroma of crispy, hot bacon makes your body swell.
Hah I just found out that I'm a nonnie and Patty recommended reading this thread for some good laughs ...I do feel like I found my home...and I'm not so strange afterall. Here's one: You might be a nonnie if you have to remove the tags from your clothes because they scratch your skin, or if you can't stand wrinkles in your sheets...Haha..I am constantly smoothing the wrinkles away, and now I know why... I am only on page one of this thread and I'm sure I'm going to enjoy reading the rest of it... |

The few times I ran a fever as a kid, I recall having a kind of hallucination (always the same) of a huge crumpled up piece of paper that had been smoothed out but you could still see the imprint of the crumpling... Drove me nuts!! Oh & I hate it when my husband tosses around at night & causes the electric blanket to get rumpled in the middle of the bed... When I am alone it never moves Oh & the only way I lose weight is to eat practically pure protein... |

OSuzanna, you made me smile with that gnat fart business! Body odors on people can distract me so much that I can't even be in the same room with them. And mouth/breath odor. I can't ignore it when the smells are bad. I have to fight to keep from throwing up! Clutter in a house makes me so claustrophobic, but I'm not bothered by dust bunnies or littlecobwebs. Lables on the inside of clothing drive me bonkers and seams on the insides of my socks have to be positioned so that I can't feel them at all when my shoes are on. I have to make my bed before I get in it. No, I don't make my bed in the morning, because I like to let the mattress ventilate. In the morning, I turn down the blankets to let air reach the bed. But before I go to bed, I make everything lined up and smooth, with no wrinkles in the bottom sheet. I don't like to feel blankets bunching up in the bed. All this is normal for a nonnie, don't ya think?
Sounds completely normal to me...so glad someone mentioned clutter, my brain gets so distracted and agitated around clutter...and no wrinkles in my bed please... |
