I think one might be a nonnie when one asks a lot of questions.. has friends who tolerate all the differences.. |

Is it possible for the secretor tests to be wrong? I can relate to everything you guys are talking about and I have celiac disease and dental problems but I just got my secretor status back and it says I'm a secretor. I thought for sure I'd be a nonnie. |

Amazon, it wouldn't surprise me if other problems (gut issues, for example) could cause hyper-sensitivity. Hopefully that'll go away for you. |

Reading through this thread has convinced me to order the secretor test kit. I really need to wait another week with the holiday and first of month at hand though.
I have strong suspicions that I'm a nonnie and would be very surprised to find out otherwise. |

Thanks for this thread, wondering now if I'm a nonnie! Does it change the A (teacher) diet loads?

if the basic teacher diet were not giving you the results you need, then a swami might be the next step, and that would be an individualized fit.....
but no need to go there if the basic teacher diet in the book works like a charm, which in fact happens to many |

Thanks Lola, so far it is fitting fine (I'm just hoping for goat's milk and dark chocolate back in small quantities as these are great pleasures of mine which I haven't kicked into touch yet) |

You know, I had suspicions that I was a nonnie because I have multiple chemical sensitivity ( self-diagnosed) and the sensory issues that go with being on the autistic spectrum ( formally diagnosed). The test I ordered from NAP says I am a secretor. I wonder if I need to be re-tested? |

if you feel adapting your secretor status in both BT and GT is simply not working, then by all means, test as often as you consider enough...... would being a nonnie change your GT in any way? |

No it wouldn't change my GenoType. According to the book, if you are female and a non secretor you must be Rh positive to be an Explorer. All I'm really saying is that I have some of the characteristics of a "nonnie". |

Here's my take on Explorers. It seems to me that I play Explorer in real life even though I measure a Warrior. I wonder if secreting Explorers are the closest GenoType to being nonnies. That probably doesn't make much sense scientifically, but I'm not sure how else to explain it. It just seems to me, reading how you Explorers react to things, if you're not a Nonnie, you may as well be one. Does that make any sense to anybody but me? |

Yes, Ribbit. But you already know what I think about that.
You would be a Warrior/Explorer mix. I am related to three female Explorers who are likely all secretors. Untangling the differences between nonnie Explorer and Rh -ve would clear things up a little. |

You might be a nonnie if... the sound of crinkling water bottles drives you nuts. My 7 year old daughter loves to sqeeze the plastic bottle and make that awful crinkling noise when the bottle is empty. I don't know why but it is super annoying. |

You might be a nonnie if: When your wife gives you as smart remark bout how far away from the store you are parking you decide to park another 50 yards farther away in less than a milli-second. We've been married for 17 years- when is she going to get it? |

Oooh me too!!! I have to take some home from work each night & I "pop" it at the lights & then while I am parked waiting to pick up husband... I find it relaxing Not so my poor man if I forget & keep doing it while he is driving I don't like the sound of plastic bottles though when I have sucked all the water out & then they make a loud noise!! Makes me yelp & jump!! |

PUT scotch tape around some of the bottles that will stop the sound.. after a while the child will forget.. but then as a potential nonnie in the future of the child.. why plastic bottles?? why not beer bottles they don't break easy.. I am laughing out loud..

Tom you are funny.. I have a saying on my walls.. for my survival every day! When will I get it that 'they' don't get it. When will 'I' get it that 'I' don't get it. have fun with that .. and parking away from the store is my best exercise.. |
