Hi Lisalea- I am sorry to say but I would vote theese as AVOIDS- just to many bad things and weird ingrediens.( ?)- maybe keep tham as a special treat if you can´t give them up .

Yes... I agree with Henriette... several of the BIG avoids in there (rye flakes, rye flour, sunflower seeds, corn flakes, etc.) Just not worth it, in my opinion....
Sorry...

what about the soya grits? find a ciabatta recipe and tweak it to your compliance. adding the right grains and substituting all other avoids.
perhaps even find a bread recipe in recibase and form like ciabatta. (chapata)

Hi Lisa Lea, The other ladies gave you their opinions on the avoids, and I agree big time!!! These are not good for you at all. But now, let's go on to the other ingredients. There are some chemicals in there that would make this poison even if the food ingredients were beneficial: diacetyl tartaric acid asters mono-diglycerides carmel (artificial coloring) azooicarbonamide sulphites Do you really want these chemicals in your bloodstream? How about making these only an occasional treat? (very occasional! )

yes, why IS poison allowed on the market????? in some countries white sugar is listed in with all the poisons. sure does make us feel like we're poisoned doesn't it? it does amaze and disgust me at the things that are allowed in our foods. like propylene glycol. that needs to be in cake why? or in the pills we take why? just ludicrous!!!

When I worked at the school library - I noticed that books about sugar/ making sugar was placed right next to the books about drugs, tobacco and alchohol ! Far away from the books about producing food ! This system is a national( inyternational system that places book in a special group so .........
Lisalea - you ask why ? Well it makes products cheaper- easier to ship and they can have bi factories instead of small bakers....

glad Lisalea that you don't experienced until now a reaction on that stuff.....but try once to do your own spelt-mini-breads called brötli and they are sooooo yummi
500 gr. of whole spelt flour, 1-1,5 teaspoon's salt, 250 gr. of sourcream (10% of fat) coriander, ginger, cardamom at your taste , 1,5 sachets of dried yeast,, 250 ml of warm water...get all mixed together, let it go for 2-3 hours, re-work on it...up for forming little breads in your hands and up into your préheated oven of 250 degree, after 10 minutes go down to 200degree, for the next 15 minutes...ready is the best bread with a bit ghee on it and just a bit of seasalt...wooow
and if you prefere, instead of sourcream you might use a bit of olive oil or some seeds BT-compatible, normally I use some linseeds, but as massr Dr. D.wrote- we the ABnonnies have a real problem with complex carbs; that means not too much in......it's enough if we think in a complicated way

hm I'll go soon in a special teahouse here in Zürich, with tea..tea..tea of all kinds and sorts and then I think it might be easier to stay away from this bloody café, no more dying for this I don't want to begin and re-begin and re-and re and re.....hey once even the silliest should check it mentally...no .....so much better and if I might perhaps profit a bit from loosing weight when no more milkcafé, wow....perhaps I dare an
LisaLea, I don't eat cow's milk products at all any more! They give me such stomach ache. And burping may be your body's way of telling you that your digestive system is irritated. And if you ARE going to drink cow's milk, try whole milk. Some people find that the removal of fat actually makes the milk harder for the body to assimilate.
Actually drinking milk is the hardest form of dairy product for the body to digest. If you are going to stick with cows milk, try yogurt, which is partially pre-digested and is good for intestinal health. And try sheep's feta cheese, and Chevrie, made from goat's milk.
I make even my yogurt from goats milk now, and much better effect for me.

I had the privilege to have been treated to your gorgeous speltbread many times.. The last time was beginning of October..
Gals.. this bread Isa bakes, OMG, it is D E L I C I O U S !!!!! She even made me a curry, spelt bun with herbs when I flew back to Holland. This bun was 'devoured' by me in the plane back to Holland..
I denied that awful Swissair wheat bun with cheesseeeee..... eeekkk!!!
Instead I enjoyed my yellow spelt herbal bun... thanks sweety!!! it was awesome!!! The guy sitting next to me in the plane looked at my bun many times...
I just cut and pasted your recipe Isa... This recipe is for 'keeps' !!!!
didn't ya got a lot of enemies because of the garlic and I feel good when you were fine here in CH-landli
Gal, I do not 'mind' what garlic vapours I spread, not even in an airoplane
I just eat healthy foods... Right???
Isa, I wish I could have stayed longer in CH.. The space, the clean air..... Only legislation on supps should be more liberal... then CH would be a country I would LOVE to live in .....
Anyway, who knows what pre-destination has in stock for me!!!

Hi Victoria, i hope that u r well ...
Thank-u for ur response ... actually, i do eat plain natural yogurt and I enjoy it i-m-m-e-n-s-l-y , especially with all types of fruits ... i also eat Feta cheese a few times per month ... and totally love it !!! but at times when i REALLY miss my espressolattes ... i give myself permission to drink a big mug and although my belly doesn't burn or anything ... i seem to burp no mattter what i eat ... hmmm actually i might just try the whole milk if u say that it will be better assimilated, Thanks for that info !!!
Missa The Cück...no-body knows...because bodies can't know ;) but mindreading can;D...even the wishes ;)......and then understand the weired mind..huh....must learn how to handle it and then puzzles get together
and yessss you are right this is one of the wonderfulst countries I know (peoples ) but those laws were done by Europeans as you know we are islanders' ;) here in this country (I guess because we are that big ) we are only alliés onto those laws...swissheads are shaking into yes-or no direction but none of em have an own opinion, nor did they understood...so far some of the oldest and finest selfmadeproducts, about 300 must be vanished until the end of this year.... the air is great when no stinky is around,,,not even natural stinkies ;) but all those ++ won't change the fact that someone helds his paw widely open into direction of pharmalobby
