Hi ... I absolutely love these ciabatta buns as they r  "d-e-l-i-c-i-o-u-s"  beyond belief !!!
however they contain beneficials, neutrals  BUT also avoids and some ingredients that i have no idea what they r  

Ingredients:
Flour, Water, Yeast, Wheat flakes, Rye flakes, Salt, Sunflower seeds, Wheat bran, Dry sourdough of rye (rye flour, yeast, bacterial culture), Flax seeds, Sugar, Corn flakes, Rye flour, Oat flakes, Soya grits, Malted barley flour, Millet, Wheat germ, Canola oil, Dextrose, Diacetyl tartaric acid esters or mono- diglycerides, Ascorbic acid, caramel, L-cysteine hydrochloride, Azooicarbonamide, Amylase.
** May contain traces of Eggs, Milk, Nuts, Peanuts, Sesame seeds, Sulphites **

What do I do ???

Hi Lisalea- I am sorry to say but I would vote theese as AVOIDS- just to many bad things and weird ingrediens.( ?)- maybe keep tham as a special treat if you can´t give them up .

Yes... I agree with Henriette... several of the BIG avoids in there (rye flakes, rye flour, sunflower seeds, corn flakes, etc.) Just not worth it, in my opinion....

what about the soya grits?  
find a ciabatta recipe and tweak it to your compliance.
adding the right grains and substituting all other avoids.

perhaps even find a bread recipe in recibase and form like ciabatta. (chapata)

Thanks everybody !!!

I kind'a had a feeling ... but i just can't give them up !!!!!!
HOWEVER; i will try to eat them ALOT less ...

The funny thing is that they don't seem to bother me at all ... and i still had energy tonight
after i had one with some beef, carrots and beets with some butter ... hmmm at least i do eat
it with beneficial/neutral foods ... maybe that helps ??

The other ladies gave you their opinions on the avoids, and I agree big time!!!  These are not good for you at all.  But now, let's go on to the other ingredients.  There are some chemicals in there that would make this poison even if the food ingredients were beneficial:
diacetyl tartaric acid asters
mono-diglycerides
carmel (artificial coloring)
azooicarbonamide
sulphites
Do you really want these chemicals in your bloodstream?  How about making these only an occasional treat?  (very occasional! )

yes, why IS poison allowed on the market?????   in some countries white sugar is listed in with all the poisons. sure does make us feel like we're poisoned doesn't it? it does amaze and disgust me at the things that are allowed in our foods. like propylene glycol. that needs to be in cake why? or in the pills we take why?  just ludicrous!!!

When I worked at the school library - I noticed that books about sugar/ making sugar was placed right next to the books about drugs, tobacco and alchohol ! Far away from the books about producing food !
This system is a national( inyternational system that places book in a special group so .........

Lisalea - you ask why ?
Well it makes products cheaper- easier to ship and they can have bi factories instead of small bakers....

glad Lisalea that you don't experienced until now a reaction on that stuff.....but try once to do your own spelt-mini-breads called brötli and they are sooooo yummi

500 gr. of whole spelt flour, 1-1,5 teaspoon's salt, 250 gr. of sourcream (10% of fat) coriander,ginger,
cardamom at your taste , 1,5 sachets of dried yeast,, 250 ml of warm water...get all mixed together, let it go for 2-3 hours, re-work on it...up for forming little breads in your hands and up into your
préheated oven of 250 degree, after 10 minutes go down to 200degree, for the next 15 minutes...ready is the best bread with a bit ghee on it and just a bit of seasalt...wooow

and if you prefere, instead of sourcream you might use a bit of olive oil  or some seeds BT-compatible,
normally I use some linseeds, but as massr Dr. D.wrote- we the ABnonnies have a real problem with complex carbs; that means not too much in......it's enough if we think in a complicated way

did ya mention café ....what's that..huh since last Thursday no more café, only greentea (sometimes a lapsang souchon ) herbal teas .....en litres yup


BUT NO MORE COFFEE !!!!!

what is interesting btw, I'ven't had any problems to stop,nor with any kind of headaches or whatsoever.... hope it won't follow after 10 days
and yessssss I hope I can be that strict to go on without this drug.... keep fingerles crossed for that

hm I'll go soon in a special teahouse here in Zürich, with tea..tea..tea of all kinds and sorts
and then I think it might be easier to stay away from this bloody café, no more dying for this

I made myself a cup of hot milk this morning with a tablespoon of molasses;
instead of an espressolatte and I'm still burping
