I started the diet 11 months ago do to digestive problems. Things have gotten much better than the past but still something isn't right. The only meat i eat is turkey and of coarse fish and eggs but it is only the turkey that really bothers me. It doesn't even seem to make a difference what form of turkey or how it is cooked, i still end up all bloated and gassy. I currently take a digestive enzyme with every meal, milk thistle and alpha lipoic acid. also take danelion root sometimes. I even watch my food combinations but it never fails i feel horrible after i eat. being a nonnie i wouldn't think it would bother me. i'm about ready to forget meat all together and just eat eggs and fish. is there any other nonnie who suffer from this of anyone have any advice. I really need to get my digestion taken care soon.

Madl similar to me...I take or L'Histidine, or Gentian, or 2-3 Bromelain with the meal or just some minutes before...works amazingly for my stomach (Betain HCL is fine too)
