Any other o nonnies unable to tolerate dulse flakes?  Man, I just figured it out.  I am reacting in a much similar way as I did to the nutritional yeast.  Pain in upper abdomen, bad gas, bloating...

Is this normal or what?  Only thing I can figure is it is a polysaccharide...

seaweed is made up of long chain polysaccarides that many people can't digest

now I would guess based on your reaction to nutritional yeast that you are dealing with a bad case of intestinal yeast, do you use enzymes at all

No, I don't use enzymes currently.  I believe my body just cannot process any form of yeast at all.  I probably do have yeast build-up too.
