After eating 3 times little portion of Mackerel (Beneficial for Bs) with white rice with allowed vegetables and spices, and two times pan fried in olive oil little Sprats (kind of Herring, which is a Neutral for Bs) breaded with oat flour, and after that added fresh lemon juice and allowed spices. This all in period of 7 days and now I have psoriasis skin symptom on my left elbow in the end of the summer - this is not supposed to happened that earlier while I were lacto-ovo vegetarian. Usually my skin conditions appears in the beginning of December or most early in the middle of November, if the year is more cold - my skin conditions appears when temperatures become zero degrees Celsius or lower. I think this is because of the fish I've ate..
Edit: I'm being on the BDT for 20 days, and I'm avoiding Avoids for both secretors ond nonnies, because I don't know my secteror status, yet. I will test it after a month.

I'm sure, I make them on my own!
It is from the fish, or from the poly-amines in the fish (because it was frozen), or from both, or I don't know...

My psoriasis gets worse when I eat rice and any fish together...maybe it's the polyamines AND the protease inhibitors in the rice..

I very rarely eat rice.

I've always ate white rice all my life and in big amounts sometimes, but it never causes me skin conditions. And I cannot pay that high price for fresh fish and meat. I better retain a lacto-ovo vegetarian...
While I cannot eat white potatoes and white wheat flour, if I'm a nonnie, the rice and the oats are my only available to find and for price meal fillers. Sweet potatoes are rare even in hypermarkets in big towns, spelt and wheat that can sprout are "bio" and are expensive, too. I cannot satiate without any bread, potatoes, rice or combination of 2 of them on a meal. I tried, I really tried, I eat 2 scrambled eggs in butter and a cucumber and sweet pepper salad and 70g white brine cheese and after an hour I'm still hungry. And it is so hard to sprout seeds in cold climate while inside is 12 degrees Celsius, because the electricity is expensive, too, and I'm a poor student on lodgings, not hospice - where all is cheaper.

Most of the time it takes additional testing / detective work to determine this...

Often to find the answer, you need to start with small amounts so the symptoms are small / tolerable and see if the symptoms reduce so you can add more a little at a time so the symptoms are tolerable as you continue to heal.  Take time to allow the body to heal at its pace.

I have had problems from both foods and supplements due to symptoms only to find out that I needed them so badly that the symptoms from healing were very significant, but necessary to make progress.

I agree 100%

I think it's best to avoid all frozen and canned fish.

Most likely I was eating CANNED or FROZEN fish
That makes more sense. It's probably the polyamines.
Frozen veggies, I think, are also higher in polyamines than fresh. Probably better to eat only fresh vegetables, and not the frozen ones. (less polyamines)

Does the canned veggies in jars with some liquid (vinegar, oil) contains polyamines?

Why is that? All citrus fruit contains it, including lemons that are very healthy?

Most of the citric acid used as an additive in foods (at least in the U.S.) does not come from citrus, but from corn...

So when it comes from corn it is supposed to be mostly GMO corn or it may contain high-fructose syrup, I don't get it... The compounds are the same or they aren't?

On Bulgarian, I've only found that is a product (a calcium salt of the citric acid) from processing leaves from cotton, lemons and juniper.

That is so nice.  Wish we were much more like you. US's food is so full of garbage. The site l listed earlier shows just how bad our food has become.

You need to do the best with what's available to you- both what's available in your area, and what's affordable for you.

It's important that you eat enough protein, and it's important to get the healthy omega-3 fats that are found in fish. If you're not able to get fish locally that you can tolerate, a fish oil supplement might be a good idea. You also need to make sure you get enough protein from other sources.

Vicktoria, consider eating fish once a week and see if the problem might just be that you consumed too much within a short period of time.

I am not opposed to high quality canned fish, since the safety of wild-caught Pacific fish is really in question at this time.  Wild sardines from Norway - I'm eating a can per day right now - I love them so much!   No problems.
