Quoted from Amazone I.
I think it is in the sentence: if your spouse is a B and you're an Ao your child is AB will have the same A subtype.... ok here was MY fault to have  misinterpreted ... that we have to be similar as our mother.... but this is obviously not possible as being only a B ...sorry it was my error in not having read it correctly.... .... I apologize.... and will stick this thread for better understandings in futur    btw. thanx for the enlightment  I need to repeate this thema....
So if you are A2B and your sister is A1B, and your mother is B, then your father MUST have been A1A2, and could not have been AO.

Si, tu peux.

You are A2B and your sister A1B, it means that you inherited A2 and your sister inherited A1. From whom did both of you inherited the A alleles? Only from your father. This means that he was A1A2. Claro.

I do not think the blood sub type is that important.

So would not want to spend too much time worrying over it.

If Father's mother is an O, it might be good to retest you and your sister to verify that you are different blood subgroups (classical genetics would indicate without mutation you should have the same A blood subtype). But I am not sure what it gets you, if you verify that you and your sister have or do not have different blood subtypes.

The diets only change slightly on A subtype and if you have a diet that is working why bother with verifying A subtype?

MIfHI                            I follow a SWAMI diet.
