OinV, What do you eat for "crunch"?

Rice cakes, compliant crackers, roasted nuts.  I make a lentil salad with al dente cooked lentils, leftover rice, finely chopped celery and shredded carrots -- all of which gives it a good *bite* if not exactly crunch.

My spelling mistake - phlegm, not flem. I should have looked it up. Spelling and math are not my best things. Anyway, I am leaving off corn. I'm wondering if drinking colas with fructose corn syrup since age 17 contributed to my sinus problems. But then, if it did, I may not have noticed a difference, since I grew up drinking milk  for every meal and switched to colas when I started college. Milk was suupposed to be healthy back then and we didn't know I am allergic to dairy.
