I'm powerless against my own mid-month hormones if even a tiny avoid gets into my diet. Why do I have to suffer like this. Puts me back into bulimia. it's starting to happen every month.WHY DO HORMONES HAVE TO HAVE THIS EFFECT ON US. It torments me to think now that I have an extra tendency to get sick all over again. |

I know you feel bad but maybe surround yourself with people who love you. My mom was a great believer in funny movies as a way to lift the spirits. What have you done for fun lately? |

Hang in there, Seraffa. I bet you feel better already. I got up this morning feeling under the weather from breathing wood staining fumes yesterday. It was cloudy and gloomy. I read your post and wanted to go back to bed because I could certainly understand a little of how you felt. I didn't, though, and instead contacted a friend and we had a nice little chat, and eventually I got going. A problem that I was trying to solve for days eventually got worked out, and it fired my day up! Even little things can cheer us up if we grab onto them with enough determination. Grab the nearest post and don't let go. My problem this morning was from an external cause (the staining fumes) that had affected my body in a very negative way, and just hanging onto that thought helped me realize that "this is going to get better sooner or later!" Sometimes a positive thought that may even seem insignificant to someone else might be just the thing we need! We don't have to take on next week today!!! |

I like this. I too feel victimized by hormones every month, sometimes two times a month I get migraines. I would love to trade hot flashes for the migraines! I'm learning to "hang on" when things get tough. I'm 55 and back in school in a rather difficult subject, right now I'm studying chemistry. I'm a very "right brain", "artsy fartsy" kinda girl in the middle of a career change involving hard core science. I have to take a deep breathe often and just hold on! |
