Shift work is mucking up my sleep. 7 on to ..3 am and arriving home just after 5am, . Is there a natural way if getting good sleep? Are some foods or drink s helpful? Don't really want to take sleeping tablets. At ..51 years old too old to change job, and none around these days anyway. So any helpful tips ?

try methyl plus

Methylcobalamin is particularly effective when your 24-hour clock is not running smoothly. This may be indicated by a need for excessive sleep, changing sleep-wake cycles, or a tendency to have altered sleep wake patterns.

Vitamin B-12 helps your body metabolize food and fine-tune the nervous system. An ideal cellular energy addition to your daily nutritional intake. Unlike other common B-12 supplements, our exclusive Methyl B-12 formulation contains two biologically active forms of B-12 with the synergistic co-factor of folate for maximum bioavailability.

Eagle Beach, I have always worked swing shift (4-midnight) and my last job, I worked 6pm-4am.  I never tried sleep aids or supplements (other than my regular vitamins & supps) and still, after being out of that job for 11 months, I have a hard time falling asleep before 3am.  That being said, many people have great results with melatonin.  I hope you find some rest soon.

I was told a good calcium and magnesium supplement....calcium helps get you to sleep while the magnesium helps you to stay asleep....my naturopath verified this could help some but said to try to find a non oxide form if possible.

I have also used Bach's rescue remedy for sleep in the past and it helped beautifully!

I notice a difference in the quality of my sleep if I don't take my Methyl 12 and Intrinsa before bed at night - they would definitely be worth a try!
