My vote is to yes. Even when my hands are full I am interested in doing a lot of stuff. There are just so many appealing things, so many that seem important too. Then it may not help that I want to be altruistic at the same time. |

I agree, we are responsible, great workers , perfectionists and multitaskers to be satisfied with ourselves, I can stop myself just before getting exhaustion, but my energy is pretty scaring for lazy people ! |

Yes. I got myself overwhelmed often, until I learned about making a task list. Now I write down everything I want to accomplish in a day and cross them off one at a time as I complete them. I make a game out of it to finish everything on the list. Also the A minds are always going with things that we need to think about and accomplish..hence the need for meditation...for balance. |

It looks like I am the only one who answered no here...haha! Most people would say that I do too many things, but my DH is an overly ambitious A Explorer and keeping up with him is sometimes a challenge. I am responsible and good worker and a perfectionist, but if I can focus on one thing at a time I will gladly choose that over multi-tasking. It helps keep my stress level down which is needed for this A! |

Sheesh, all of these over energetic A bunny rabbits. This A has had too many decades of energy robbing allergies, low thyroid and sleep apnea to ever want to do anything requiring serious amounts of energy. Multitasking??? Ummmm, do you mean something more than sleeping AND breathing?? Time for my mid-evening nap Seriously, I am in awe of your ambition and energy levels. Andrew |

No, it exhausts me just to think of doing too many things. I can end up feeling responsible for things over which I have no control and that becomes unhealthy. I probably used to be more like that but after overdoing things and almost having a breakdown I learned to only take on what I know I can handle. |

I voted a strong yes! There are at least three things I want to be doing while I am doing this! But nutrition has been a strong focus for me since I was fourteen. That is a long time ago! Fifty-five years to be exact! |

Yes. I had great training in multi-tasking as a jeans designer for 10 yrs. I had to come out with 2 major seasonal lines and 2 injection lines in a year. A line may have from 10-20 different styles, each style may have up to 7 colors and 10-12 sizes. All preparations are done at least 18 months before the line is out in stores. I stopped working as a designer when I had my 4th child and focused my attention on them. Then I got sick and fat. That was 21 yrs ago. The BTD made me better in making the right choices not only with food but other aspects as well. I still want to do many things at the same time but I try not to. BUT before I am done with one thing I've already started another thing. phew... |

I have learned that multitasking only creates more frustration at least for me anyway. But I have a lot of projects lined up to keep me busy enough without being overwhelmed. |

I am the laziest person around. I don't see this as a trait of all A's. I know many O's like this and some more lazy A's like me. I don't even have a desire to do a lot of things. Never have. |

An absolute "yes" for me.
I'm in the middle of a challenging situation now and I find that if I have to wait for a solution from others I immediately start working and thinking about something else even though that can't be resolved and is in the future.
I simply must have lists. I buy post it notes and stick them onto something flat in my purse so that I constantly have a direction.
I just bought Bach "White Chestnut" The description says something like "when your thoughts keep spinning round and round and you just can't shut your mind off". That's for me alright!!
If I'm working on something like jewelry making though I am very focused and calm.

My A tendencies are kicking in big time today. I made a list but find myself seeing other things and straying from it. Trying to do everything at once. Have to keep reminding myself to get back to the list. I work one day a week now and attend school one day. Cooking for 2 blood types takes up alot of time. Husband goes into work later and son gets home at 3 so not much time to get things accomplished. Liked it when I had days all to myself. I am more productive when no one gets in my way. The age thing is catching up to me. I used to be able to accomplish all of the house cleaning and laundry in one day. No longer possible. Maybe we should start posting our lists here to hold ourselves accountable. Well, back to the list. Catch ya later. |

I missed this gift that A's have! I do not like having too many responsibilities and too much will be stressful to me. I like sailing in my own wind i guess you could say. If it is a thing i put on myself and feel important, then i do it, but if it is externally placed on me, i find it annoying and stressful often times. I am trying to get better with this. I like having punch lists to work with. That is how i can really get things done. |

He's an author....I have one of his books "A new earth"....he's excellent....similar to Deepak Chopra....
I am for sure a multi~tasking A! Sometimes there is so much I want to do and so much running through my head that I literally shut down like a deer caught in headlights... |

The more I read about "typical blood type personalities" the more I think my oldest daughter has the personality of an A, even though she's an O. |

PrincessMia, I am so like you in the way I really crave time alone so as to focus more easily and then get things done in a somewhat timely manner! When you first order products from Dr.D...NAP...they send you the ABO profile pages. When my DH and I read about O's(he is a Hunter) and A's we agreed that he is a typical O and I fit the A exactly!!! He likes loud, combative movies and TV, craves excitement and people, and multitasks. I get tense and crabby if the volume is too loud, hate violence, like alone time, and feel overwhelmed much of the time. I have great intentions of being organized and working hard but "life" gets in my way and I get frustrated that I have not accomplished what I planned. EasyE, I understand exactly what you mean re: the stress and responsibility! |
