He is blood type A pos.  I suspect he may be a nonnie because he eats certain foods that are avoids for A secretors, but he says they don't give him any trouble.  Like turkey, which is neutral for A non-secretors.  I asked him recently whether he felt ok the next day after eating turkey for dinner, and he said he felt fine.  Lamb as well.  But beef can give him indigestion.  So we'll see.  I'm as excited to learn his secretor status as I was to learn my own.  He, on the other hand, doesn't have much interest.  He'll happily eat whatever I put in front of him.  He'll eat anything except soft shell crabs and boiled peanuts.  He'll eat things I won't touch, like frogs' legs.    So I'm very curious.

...Yes, I see that's what I did.  It's lamb that's neutral for A nonnies, and an avoid for secretors.  That might be why he's ok on lamb.

The kit was lying on the counter for a few weeks, but he finally did it one morning while I was sleeping.  I sent it off to the lab and just got the results today.  DH is A+ non-secretor, just as I suspected.  His dental issues are even worse than mine by the way.
