B plus o recessive makes a B

Your daughter can either be an A or an O, since you're an O (each sperm cell having an allele for O) and your wife is an A (each egg having either an A or an O if she's AO, or each egg having an A if she's AA, in which case all your kids will be As.)

With one parent being an A and  the other parent being a B, you could have had a sibling with type AB blood as well.

I wouldn't put too much stock in the "blood type personality" thing. My two O daughters are VERY different from one another, and my B son is very much like my younger daughter. Just from guessing, I would have thought that DD2 and DS were one type and DD1 was another. But blood typing showed otherwise. All are much more evenly tempered when they're eating right for their types.
