Lucky southerners! But I think it's time for you to get some warm, sunny weather. It's been quite a winter, eh? |

V, it has been unbelieveable for Atlanta! Quite pretty, but the aftermath created quite a bit of anixiety and stress for a lot of people... But it's just like George Washington now. History -hahahahahahah |

I got way more natural Vit D than I meant to at the weekend It was mega hot & soooo muggy here (for Wellington - 23oC) & we went out delivering census forms... I stoopidly wore a low fronted dress & got quite burned Will have a nice tan out of it but not the safest or the intended way to get it Actually, despite it being summer here, I haven't been out in the direct sun since spending 3 weeks in LA in Sep/Oct & then I didn't get burned at all I forgot how much you can burn here 'cos of the hole in the ozone layer!!! |

Ouch cooked Possum! Take care of yourself and your skin! Good on you doing the census. Some "hello Vera" might help. A friend recently got sunburnt so badly she had to go to hospital for dehydration. Looked like a cooked lobster! G'day Golfzilla glad you're enjoying the great outdoors! I also avoid the sun like the plague so started taking vitamin D (haven't had blood test yet to confirm but think I'm low - have low calcium levels) and have had a rise in energy and reduced pain that was probably felt in the power grid. Been taking vitamin A for a long time but didn't know you need to balance the two. Except yesterday when we were cleaning the garage out and cleaning bicycles and such. Got a great sweat going in near 100 F weather. Talk about detox! |

Great going - cleaning out the garage??!! Umm "hello vera" does not get a polite reply in our house - well not from me anyway First & only time I let her near me she did not leave a very good impression Using instead, a couple of Trilogy CoQ10 w Tahitian tamanu oil booster capsules slathered on, each morning & night... |

Was a great weekend, Bobbier but don't get in to big a hurry to plant. Our last frost date is April the 15 and think yours is the same. This is Arkansas, weather changes everyday. Getting into the mid to high 20's tonight. Planting Ozark Giant bell pepper, and Leutschauer paprika tomorrow. (indoors) BD and I going to plant mostly heirloom seeds this year and see if we can save our own seeds. |

Thanks for the reply Possum! Sorry Vera not so popular with you! You got it under control obviously. Yep, our garage is full of garden tools, has an old amplifier and soon to have record player, bikes, the car usually and it's hard to open the doors most of the time! So much stuff in there including hornets nests. Sometimes we have the family band play in there. Most funny thing was seeing DH being chased by hornets and trying to shoot them with a fly gun while being chased |

when the weather changes again, check out the new D if you haven t already http://www.4yourtype.com/prodinfo.asp?number=NP066
I've been battling with very low vitamin D levels for almost a year now. When my last blood test came in I asked the nurse if the prescription was actually being absorbed by my body and of course she said it was because the levels are close to normal now. I will give these a try and see how much improvement I see at my nest hemotologist visit in June. I have two more weekly doses to take for this round. Thanks for the info, Lola. |
