If I order the MN group test do I have to send it in to somewhere or will the results become visible like with the simple blood test? Same goes for the A1/A2 subgroup test. I want to finetune my swami even more.
Any input is appreciated.

I am unfamiliar with the European procedures.

However, MN is normally a blood test. You draw a vial of blood and send it to a lab for testing.

A1/A2 is also normally a test processed in a lab and not a self read.

While the European website does offer these test kits, last week I e-mailed them and this was the reply I got:

Thank you for your enquiry.  We haven’t sent any of these kits to the U.S. before so I have asked at the lab, where the tests are carried out, to make sure.

The lab has carried out a few tests from the U.S. and ask that you make sure there is plenty of blood in the tube and send the sample by courier, to arrive within a few days.  For the MN and A1/A2 tests this should be fine; the Lewis test is more time-sensitive.

So, if you would like to order on our website http://www.right4eu.com , we will send you a kit (both tests can be done from the same blood sample) and we will send you an envelope with the return address.  You will receive your results by post after 10 days.

Can you have your PCP order MN phenotyping and the A1/A2 subtyping?  Like C Sharp says, anyone can draw the blood and it just needs to be sent to a lab that does blood typing.
