Sounds like you are severely low in magnesium. Magnesium is what brings moisture to our cells and also important our bowels.

Have you read the link on transdermal magnesium oil? I would highly recommend it.

In the end .. eat what you know works for you... (who said ice cream)  even if you stay away from the carbs for a while - or eat one at a time, beans might be even better then others, as there are several in the Super and Ben category.. ( do you have the book HANDY or would you like for me to type them out? )

[i]The book actually raves about beans and legumes with fish would seem more beneficial than any grains./i]

also they might be a tad less expensive which would help you with the budget.

by comparison the grains have several warnings.. and have no SUPER BENEFICIALS>>

I suspect you are a Nonnie.. and then many beneficials move over to allowed frequently.. so not every day.. Then also if you eat oats you might be eating them in a fashion not so good for you..

I mean there is no issue eating them any way - I like oats- but for upset intestines a good way to eat them is to cook them for a while up to 20 minutes.. until real mushy.. if you had diarrhea you could even strain them and leave the husks away.. add salt and spices rather then sweets.. but for nonnies that is only seldom..

by the way there other things that move over into the seldom category..

for right now eating pumpkin any way you can might give you variation on less expensive foods.. all pumpkins I think are ok.. easy to cook.. put some water in the bottom add the whole thing or cut up peaces and steam for 10 min or until tender then peal and eat.. I never knew the taste of any of them.. for a lifetime.. now I am a fan.

ONE THING I WISH to say actually 2:  YOU ARE DOING so much better KNOWING what you need to do.. THAT IS GREAT for a student who also wants to hold up good grades!!!! I feel Pride for you! But the one feeling pride must be YOU!..

as you are so young the sugar issues might be a warning for older age.. so doing GENO is good..  I have long suspected that Diabetes is a illness that starts in the 20's mostly from malnutrition.. You are 40 years ahead of most people!!!! Walk tall my friend. . all the best .. what are you studying? (sorry if I forgot)

Hmmmm.  "lots" of green tea would equal lots of caffiene.  Lots of caffiene would equal lots of pee.
The caffiene gives you the temporary energy but steals your water.

Cut your green tea to only 12 oz a day and I'm guessing your water problems greatly improve.

...just a thought...

I misread the diabetes book, it recommends less carbohydrates, less animal/nut protein, more beans.

I might try some of the things recommended in the diabetes book like Fenugreek.

It takes huge amounts of coffee to make the caffeine make me pee a lot.

I once had slightly low iron on a test but... not taking that to heart as I ate horrible at the time. It is a little hard to believe I am an explorer at this point seeing how my gut flora goes nuts and allergies get big as well as infections.
These are a couple of good signs that you are an Explorer.  Have you taken your fingerprints?  Different fingerprints on the index fingers are particularly pertinent here.

Nothing but loops.

My allergies get bad when I eat lamb is what I was saying. Chocolate bothers me then. Chocolate now is a light irritant as opposed to a bad one.

How much green tea do you drink and what kind?
Coffee and green tea are not the same as far as caffiene goes.

Several cups a day. I would guess at 3-6.

If you can hack it, cut it down to 1 or 2 and replace the 3-6 with the same amount in water.  Try that for awhile and see if it makes any difference.  If you are ingesting any other dieuretic type liquids, they need to go as well.

Oh yeah whenever I have blood work they have always said blood glucose levels are normal.

Just because your levels are "normal" does not mean they are normal for YOU.

It's not just peeing when you lose water.  How much do you sweat at rest or during exercise?

I use to sweat a lot, now not much ever.

I got some blackstrap molasses in me today and had some good results. It helped stop the incessant peeing and I did not feel so tired afterward. As soon as I get foodstamps I am going to get more of it and try a few tablespoons in cups of hot water during the day. I must be low on something in it (and B12, I have to eat a few eggs everyday). I am also going to buy several of the diabetes superfoods.

Today I drank a lot of water.

Last night I could not fall asleep. I wonder if it had to do with caffeine. When I was a kid caffeine kept me up like nobodies business.

During the night I have trouble with waking up blood shot eyes and the ends of my finger tips feel numb or something and sometimes a bit of the hand. It was happening earlier to one arm but only if I laid a certain way. The fingers doing it now do it regardless of position.

Looking back on my history

I think insulin resistance and complications have been my greater problem for my life. The problem only started to show after high school when I accumulated more stress. However the reason being for the whole situation most likely being abuse of carbohydrates because wheat screws me up; when I was a child I felt like I was starving and ate too much of the wrong things.

My friend that lives in the same building as me did not eat red meat as a child and was similar but has had better health. She is A+, and I have talked her into a bit better eating. I think not eating the meat helped her stay much healthier. Unfortunately the same problems were sneaking up on her but in more mild form, and she is a few years older than I. If my diet had been better I would be better now but... whatever.

Eggs can bind you (make it even harder to have good BMs) & also if there is still any chance that you could be an explorer, you may want to watch them for that reason as well...

This SENTENSE is POWERFUL!!  Immmmagine how many people are being poisoned systematically by eating flower products..kids especially.. for those few who can eat the stuff, they have no clue how bad that food is and HOW ADDICTIVE.   breads and whatever is connected to the earliest foods, and all the holidays and Sundays.. I mean if ever there was a subject worth while making up a poem or a story - for the Grimm brothers- then nothing is.

Yesterday I went over to the dark side.. and today I don't have a single wrinkle!.. my hands my arms my feet and all else is puffed up even my cheeks .. I mean if one needed to prove it.. I am a picture of glowing heath in any book but mine!.. I look and feel exactly or much worse --and I knew I would .. so no complaint- just suck it up and go compliant .. at least on the way home I got eggs and I am ready today starting with diuretic tea and water to flush-- paying some bills and clean up my paperwork, and do some exercise..not just sitting in the car all day!

there is an exercise that is worth the trying..it is so simple you will not even believe it..here goes:  drop your hands along side of you- sitting or standing- then roll the hands out wards and allow the hands arms and shoulder to roll out with them.. it activates the whole upper back -- but don't over due it.. just a gentle bend of the hand outwards and hold to the count of 5-then let go.. .. do it as often as possible..

How's your corn/corn by-product consumption?

I stopped eating corn. Once in a grand bit a few chips will make it in my mouth but in large part it always makes me feel awful.

Eggs bind me? Perhaps but being low on B12 is hell or you start to think so... It is true that I did not eat a lot of eggs when I had the best BM's for awhile.

Today I have not had any complex carbohydrates and I feel... mixed. I did not get enough sleep because I was pretty much up all night. My legs still feel weird so I might take some fenugreek.

I think it lowers blood sugar levels like it says it does in the diabetes book. It takes the pressure off my head and allows me to think and sit still to concentrate on home work and things like that.

My legs go back and forth on the lower ones between being sort of stiff to itchy and then loose and good feeling. My calves are way tight when my blood sugar is high or something from the best I can tell.

I'm sure you know that Encyclo backwards and forwards, Lola, I had to look it up...
I was just kinda throwing it out there for general info, maybe, perchance it might be relevant to DoS's issues.
