Just read back on one of your previous posts too Symbi. I've been a bit busy recently so I have been on the boards for awhile.
I had bio unavailable copper issues for awhile. Fasting is one of the ways to cure that. So when I fasted for 2 weeks it helped to clean my bio unavailable copper also. I should check to see what else clears the bio unavailable kind. With the copper bracelet you could still be copper deficient but it might just be that your body didn't like the the form of copper you were getting from it.
I really wish I could just go and get a screening for all my vitamins/minerals levels and than know which would be the best way to taken them all. I have been starting to do transdermal magnesium and that is helping now with a plethora of other things. As gross as this sounds... I had a mole just above my bra strap level right along my spine. As I started eating more magnesium rich food (following my type) moles started scabing over and falling off. The one on my back is close to falling off so I started using my transdermal mag on it and it's so big and itchy. But it's so close to falling off! Finally! |

Sorry haven't been on that much lately! Didn't see your reply Christy. about leaking at the grocery store. Our parents used to worry about not wearing a bra to the shops, but since we've all gone back to breastfeeding (bottlefed was all the rage in the 70s when I was a bub) we have a bit more to contend with! I wish I could get mineral testing done too, from what I read even that isn't conclusive tho (e.g. can be high levels of zinc in hair indicating a lack in the body ). Began taking zinc again. Was feeling really good and getting lots done. But now I've got fatigue back again and I have low iron and iron storage. Gotta watch out because Zinc blocks Copper and you need copper to absorb Iron (as well as Zinc directly blocking iron absorption). (the knee bone connected to the thigh bone...) Yikes! Have had a later period (last time like never) (?low copper - stopped wearing band as it was making me a bit loopy). Reduced Zinc and am getting molasses into me (has both iron and zinc amazing stuff!). May get some floradix iron supplement tomorrow. Hopefully, as a Warrior you don't get low on iron? If you feel fatigued may need to get it checked while you are taking zinc tho. |

You must mean our Mothers?? Funny thing is, with all the hormones in chicken etc maybe these days it will be our parents... |

All very complicated & good point/reminder re high levels in hair not necessarily indicating high levels in body...rather, a lack in body!! Yikes indeed!! |

Symbi - There is now Floravit which is by the same company for iron as the Floridix but the "vit" is gluten free! So I've been using that for low iron. And yes... I do get low iron too. Total bummer. |
