Welcome back Green Root!
Foods and herbs are more complicated than "this one is an MAO inhibitor" and "that one has phytoestrogens." Soy and flax are full of phytoestrogens, but soy is a black dot for me and flax is beneficial. I eat flax and avoid soy (except for about a teaspoon of tamari per week.)
Similarly, I'm trusting Dr. D'Adamo's knowledge about other foods. He's said that O's shouldn't use St. John's Wort, so I wouldn't consider using it. I don't even need any kind of antidepressant when I'm following my SWAMI! Meanwhile, chocolate is beneficial, and I see no problem consuming it in any form (raw or cooked; I avoid it in formulations that contain avoids.)

I d worry about sjw but not about chocolate, being an O how does it rate in your swami? follow that advice instead

Yeah. Thanks! It would be very hard to totally quit eating chocolate. I have been quite an addict lately. But anyway I should diminish the amount I put into my mouth. And now that I made a decision about that, I have been mad about carob. Self-control is the hardest thing when you don't live in poverty.
SJW - why to eat that? Chocolate is superfood without diamond.
Btw, I take discussion to the sidetrack, sorry about that. :
If I try to convince people about BTD/GTD (that they are not completely claptrap as many believe), is it most sure and a good thing to mention about the difference of the mean amount of gastric acid among O and A types? And that's why O types digest meat better on average?

Personally, I like to keep it simple. Different people have different dietary needs, and Dr. D'Adamo has figured out who does best on which foods. If you're an O you eat this; if you're an A you eat that. If an individual can't see past the "what do you mean, how can that food be healthy for you but not for me? " then I usually give up and we talk about something other than nutrition. If the person asks for more information and seems interested, that might be a good time to bring up the stomach acid thing.

True that nothing cannot be forced if there is too much resistance. What do you others think, what would be good introduction to the basics of BTD/GTD (that has very good arguments)?

I show by example; meaning, I tell folks (if they're interested) that I follow the GTD/Swami food plan and by doing so, I've put my asthma into remission. Because I choose to eat foods that compliment me, I no longer have to take steroids and use albuterol inhalers on a daily basis. In fact, I've not had to use my inhaler for over four years! Not bad, I say.
On the other hand, I have a good friend whose known me for 15 years, and has seen the benefits of the way I eat, knows what to do for himself, and still won't choose it for himself, but prefers to go the route of Western doctors and pill popping . Sigh. And he's got a lot of issues that I (know) would be helped if he ate complimentary to his type.
I tell that the first genetically studied nutrition is Dr D's BTD , as the blood group is the most known genetic info among people. The immune system reacts so good to these food choices that it may heal a lot of grievances , problems and also real diseases. GTD is a cutting edge epigenetic diet healing also the genes with more genetic info and so on

I don't even mention GTD, as I don't want to confuse people at first. The idea of 4 different diets is complicated enough for some people. Even though I'm following my personalized SWAMI, I tell people I'm on "the blood type diet" if they ask how I lost weight or why I can't eat a certain food.
Then, if they express interest, I can explain later that I'm doing a more refined version as I lay out the basics for them; such as "Yes, you and I are both Os and you can have oats, but they're not good for me because I'm following a more specialized version of the diet. You should start with following the book, and make changes later only if you need to."
