I read about this in LR4YT. That section talked about what CI caused, but not about what it actually IS. How do I know if I have it? I sure hope I don't...being a nonnie with very little IAP, fats don't help me much, either, which would leave only protein as a good source of calories.  |

Carbohydrate intolerance is the inability to digest certain carbohydrates due to a lack of one or more intestinal enzymes. Symptoms include diarrhea, abdominal distention, and flatulence. |

Thank you, that is what I was looking for. That's good news. I don't seem to have those symptoms, and as skinny as I am, I doubt insulin resistance is a problem. Unless being really skinny is a symptom!  |

diabetics come in all sizes, it all depends on how your pancreas produces and puts out insulin. If you have relatives that are diabetic, there is more likely a chance of developing it. (parents, grandparents, brothers,sisters of self and) |

Oh, no problem there. No family history. In fact, I tended more toward hypoglycemia before BTD/GTD. |
