As you may be aware I'm trying to help my daughter’s diet using the Live right book and the allergies Book.

I am working through this at the moment and notice a small discrepancy - now to be fair this book is dated 2006 so this is not a criticism - it's purely to make sure I’m doing the best that I can for my daughter - who by the way has improved dramatically already –

Rather than start more than one thread about a specific subject I thought I would list them all (assuming I find more) in one thread – which then can be used by others.

If at times I sound bad tempered it's just frustration at not being able to stay awake and read more hours in the day, Kind regards

Halibut for Blood type O Page 49 (electronic Book)

Listed as 10 top allergy fighting foods No 2 in brackets (halibut)

upon checking – on the website - this food it is only Neutral for Non Secretors - should I use it anyway or is there a better on - I'm using organic beef and line caught cod already but variety is the spice of life

Foods may have particular properties for healing particular health condition. These are considered in the health library series books.

The standard rating of foods for people that may not need this specific healing property may be lower than that given in a health library book.

If your body needs the specific healing properties offered by a neutral food, I see little reason to not cosume the food and avail yourself of the health benefits,

nORMALLY i WOULD AGREE WITH YOU But The question relates to the Allergies Book only....

It says in the allergies book to concentrate on the super and beneficial foods and that neutral food should be eaten rarely if at all! note there are two types og newtral food in that book.

Aberrant expression of lectins in the disease state was indeed how Dr. D
explained this.
don t compare one book rating with another.....follow the allergies book as is, with her secretor status in mind.....protocols as well, considering her age and weight....

write down every reaction in a food log for reference

If you would prefer not to use Halibut, use Cod (Also no 2 in the list).

In the food listing in the Allergies book Cod is a super beneficial for secretors and nonsecretors.

policychecker, in the health book that I use for Aging, there is a variation listing (paragraph-style) for non-secretors at the bottom of each food list. So the main list is basically for secretors. Non-secretors use the same list except for those foods with an alternate rating below. Does your Allergy book not have that too?

Could you expand what you mean by protocols age etc -

she is 4. (suspected non secretor.

Are you suggesting supplement if so I might consider very specific ones for her age which ones exactly.

Plus assurance of mildness etc.

ta John

Finished that book now so understand a bit more of what you were talking about previously - thanks for your patience Lola oxo

Yes Teri it does but I just wanted to check specifically as getting hold of decent fish is getting harder and harder especially when it is better fresh.

C sharp thanks for those thoughts cod get the vote anyway but I want to give her more than one two fish and the better they are the happier I’ll be.

Got that bit sorted now.

right!

Dr D s sups in general, are in fact food derived, so adverse effect of any would not be the case....
a third of a normal dose might be in order, if you decide.....and go from there.

food should in fact be her medicine, so keep up the good work!
