Cacao nibs are basically raw chocolate, pieces of cacao beans that have been roasted, hulled and prepped to the point where all that there is left to do is process them into bars. The chocolate-making process involves grinding up the cacao into a thick paste to which extra cacao butter, sugar, milk and other flavorings are added.
BTD says "neutral" on chocolate for all BT's. |

Thanks all for the confirm. This is what I thought - I thought I had just better check. All the chocolate I can find has sugar in it. Also I am not good with too much chocolate powder, which although has no sugar - seems to affect me from a caffeine point of view! I am going to try these. For those of you in the UK - Gillian McKieth does a pot of them - bit expensive but then you don't need many at a time! Thanks |
