Now that I have cut out most if not all of the avoid food and introduced most of the beneficial foods for my daughter aged 4 blood type O+ (awaiting secretor results).
The food that seem to be giving her a slight reaction are one or all of the following.
Rice Puffs Blueberries butternut Squash White rice grapefruit carrot parsnip
I am now removing each of the above on a daily basis to see if we can get a more refined answer. Daughter now off Wheat, Lentils, Oranges, and doing much much better.
Points to note - sometimes they cause a reaction sometimes it is less obvious.
Anyway there seems to be a small link regarding glycemic index.
There seem to be two pointers
1 - a pimpling of skin *very slight ) looks hike an IG type reaction (amateur diagnosis)
2 - another pimpling but more itchy skin and not IG type.
Forgive my terminology IG etc may be using the wrong word or misunderstanding something so assume nothing.
Any idea kind regards John

John, let the diet work for awhile. If you feel better removing those foods that is fine. Once you get the secretor test that will refine things more for her.
Dr. D'Adamo often says, it is more what you do eat then what you don't.. so load her up with all those bene foods just like you have been doing and watch her get better.
You are amazing that you have been able to move from vegetarianism to the O diet.. you will have such a great testimony when this is over.

Interesting.. and man I would like to be around when she is 50..
If I where to conjecture here.. and no better info was fore coming then I would say that your daughter is a Gatherer..
AND THAT YOU CAN INDEED CHANGE HER GENETIC INHERITED DESTIUNY...
here is my layperson interpretation..
I think your daughter may be a GATHERER GENO type.. ..
.05inches or 1 centimeter shorter in he her lower limbs.. rounded body even though skinny.. and maybe has a belly even as a baby..
so if I looked at that and found the items above affecting her.. well A) they are high clycimic.. and B) all not on the Geno type foods to emphasize as Beneficial's.. at best neutral and at best Block DOT * avoid (to be eaten seldom)
NOW the GREATEST thing -I THINK- SHE could EXPERIENCE way beyond my life time.. (my interpretation) THAT if she stayed first of all interested in the subject.. and adhere to Gatherer food for her life-time : SHE might never develop DIABETES.. which she in my mind deffinilty will by the time she is 50 if she eats normal.. and heart condition by 60)
NOW FOR me that is sooooo exciting>> here is where DrD. could change your child's life destiny.. from one of misery (foodwise) to happy food wise!!!
I am thrilled to have read this.. as I am on the QUEST of determining if it is at all possible to reverse paternal diabetes.. with nutrients.. I will take the dam drugs .. as that seems to do something - I think like reduce the symptoms.. BUT what I really want to do is reduce all the bad effects it had already.. and "I" most likely had all my life... !!!!!!!!!!!
I would avoid all the items above.. and MAN OH MAN what fabulous observations.. YOU could be dr DrD's double.. I am jealous.. what on improved life your daughter will have.. like I said I would like to be here when she is 50 .. Keep this post as a copy in her baby book.. I wish her luck and success and happiness and a stress free life.. at least in the places where she CAN have control as she gets older.. her food intake..
Her shoulders and her chin are a good place to observe reactions.. I can in a few minutes..
Her teeth will need close observation.. but in the end she will be great in many ways.. stamina, health, and understanding differences.. what a gift you are giving her.. and don't restrict dark chocolate...

Thanks for that Andrea.
By the way, just for the record we went from a normal albeit non blood specific diet but including wheat, sweets, ice cream, meat, fish, chips, McDonalds Chinese take away, tinned tomatoes tined, soups, ....
To a vegan diet for six months , never cheating....Difficult not to over do it on the fruit I think that’s what caused the main problem.
To the blood type diet as of about 2 weeks ago maybe three weeks ago but a more gradual uptake of meat and fish - the veg side of thing we adjusted quickly and the grain we also changed pretty quickly.
We have pretty well gone chemical free too which has also helped. Much wiser now, so in good mood really. Can’t believe how much better my own skin and scalp is, regardless of my daughters improvements.
So far we have introduced lean organic beef and gradually increasing size, currently just moving from one once to 2 ounces for meal. starting on fish this week and also chicken just three times a week from the end of the week. Have now cut white potatoes out completely. That was hard to do, after years of eating potatoes as the mainstay of our meals here in Ireland.
But I take your point about taking my time, perhaps I have been sensitive to change and will let her menu be stable for a week. then see what happens.
Kind regards John
