When my daughter Aged 4, (O), eats outside, ( what is normally a food she is okay with), in the sunshine, she breaks out in a rash.
The foods vary a bit keeping a closer eye this odd phenomenon now but rice, beef, broccoli, carrots, parsnips and celery have all been in the mix -
Cant narrow in down more than that as the sun rarely shines in Northern Ireland. lol
Any thoughts?
Kind regards John

That happened to me last year around this time. I spent hours on the web searching for answers and looking at pictures of rashes that matched mine. What I found was a rash that occurs on mainly Caucasian woman in northern climates in early spring after being exposed to the sun. I had tried everything under the sun to clear it up until someone on this forum suggested Rhodiola rosea. I dont know if this is your daughters case, but the herb is worth a try. |

Maybe she spends more time outside when she eats there,as opposed to playing outside for a bit, then coming inside to eat, then going back out again. It's probably from the sun, not from any specific thing she eats. |

for me sun can cause fever blisters -the way I know to combat my low be status is to take extra b.. or at least extra Panthothenic Acid = VIT B 6or 5 300 mgs for me but 100 for a child daily for a while would be enough .. chaep and I seem to need it...
I only read your first post here.. |

I don't like taking medicine and Im not keen on taking supplements either. I much prefer eating real organic food.
I would also like My daughter to not have any of the above until she is old enough to make her own mind up i.e 40. lol

That has happened to me and my sister in the sun. I just bought some evening primrose oil which is a diamond for me. I believe primrose oil contains fatty acids...It's also supposed to be good for M women that it balances the hormones and lessens hot flashes. I also have to be careful with sunscreens. One time I used Ban De Sole tanning gelee' in the Bahamas, and I broke out in a horrible, burning rash on my thighs when I was out in the sun! I had to keep my legs covered up the whole time I was there because even after I washed off the tanning stuff, when ever I would go out in the sun my rash would start burning really bad! Took a few weeks to go away. I'll never use Ban De Sole again! Does anyone know of a nice natural sun block that doesn't cause reactions? |

I'm thinking Olive oil would be good for type O, but no proof yet - it's natural and good for O's so why not.
Evening Primrose oil is an avoid i think for O's. |
