Me too! I hate seeing myself in others and disliking it, but it happens all the time.
Totally agree. Someone wise said that the things you notice and don't like about other people are often traits you have yourself. ehhr lucky I like most people or I wouldn't like myself at all.

I see it as the universe constantly trying to show us who we really are and areas we need to work on. It's not easy having a mirror thrown up in your face.....haha!
Ok, totally off the subject, but I have to ask this because I haven't figured it out yet. How do you get your post to quote someone else's post like that????

funny i love finding some one just like me becuse it happens so rarly. i am sort of an odd nut as far as i can tell. i get along with most people, though sometimes i have to look realy hard to find comon ground. i am not much of a people person how ever, my longest friendship was about 6yrs my marrage 5yrs. i even have to watch mom becuse to much time with her will drive us both nuts. limeted contact seems to be best for me. depressing isn't it? i seem to do best with letters becuse i am mostly a boring person and it takes me all year to do something that OTHER people will find intresting. i wonder if that is how people who study odd or obscure things in musems feel?
nothing to do? who has that!? swami made me an explorer!

I agree with TJ. I get along with anyone who respects me...which I then also agree with Ribbit. I have problems with O's understanding me. But is it me or do O's not really respect A's too much? Lately, since I only my dad was AB, I've been having trouble figuring out a few AB's I know. I get along well with other A's, and B's unless the B's are really stressed out then there's no communicating with them. So I guess that means We all get along!
I'm going to pipe in on this. The majority in a 8 person office (1 doesn't know her blood type) are A's by one. The other 3 are O's, we all get along great, my boss, I think is an O but not confirmed, will stop in every now & then & cause an uproar. He has to be the center of attention & has possible manic depressive tendencies.
I chuckled at many of the posts, mostly because I could relate. Ribbit, I totally agreed with your post with the exception of seeing it from the opposite point of view! And I could see exactly what you meant! I have a very hard time communicating with A's. I feel like they take my words, pure, innocent words, and twist them back at me until sometimes I have no idea what we are now talking about! My husband is an A and I constantly have to say, "Whoa, whoa, whoa! Wait! Slow down. Ok, now say it again and use pictures." All of his analytical speech confuses my brain and I simply don't get it! And on the flip side he's learned a great deal about practicality since being married to me! He's done some pretty crazy things that I've had to shake my head at. My closest friends are O's and B's. Other than my husband, I have no close friend who is an A. Acquaintances, but that's it. However, I'd have to say that I get along with pretty much everyone.

My husband, who is an A...One of my daughters-in-law is a B and we get along beautifully...I also have known a long time and am close with a couple of As. My sisters are ABs as is my daughter and we are very close.
Funny for me since my wife is an A. I definitely have an affinity for A's- many, many close friends...I think they tolerate my talking well & like my shoot from the hip style. Some of my good friends and family are B's esp. my high school best friend, closest Uncle, & my Best Man College Roommate. I do have two B sibs that are in the wear-me-out category for different reasons. My Mother (very close) & Father were AB's and 3 of my children (one daughter esp. close) are too as well as my closest Aunt. O's seem to intimidate me & make me feel bad so I try to avoid or keep at a distance. Recently read "You Are Your Blood Type" by Nomi & Besher. Hard to find but worth it! I thought it was AWESOME!! P.S. I forgot, my step-dad who raised me was an A. We got along famously since I was very organized as he was too. My brother, who was a busy & messy B, was not so fortunate.
most of my friends are O or A don't know two many B and only one AB. I try to take the time to listen to them and understand where they are coming from I don't always get it right of course. I just hope they give me an E for effort. I must however say BD is right neither of us are people people and many of my friends wear me out. I also seem to attract people who need to have me listen to their woes or life even when I lived in NJ and traveled by the tube to NYC complete unknowns would start talking about their lives. However BD is anything but boring. She seems to be the only one who thinks that, that I know of

I'm sure it's a funny book. However, reading through these posts and looking at my own life experiences, people are people, there are good people that are easy to get along with and then there are other people (I like the people on this forum). I know very few Bs, really only one I can think of. I know two ABs and they are polar opposites. My daughter is an O and my other daughter is an A. Someone here said Os were risk takers? My A daughter is an off the charts risk taker, my O daughter is calm beyond calm. On the other hand my mother is an O and can spin circles around me. My dad was an A and was a quiet, calm engineer. My brother is an O and is a quiet calm engineer. See where I'm going? It's all fun and interesting, but I think you can spin the data to get any results you want ( I loved my statistics class, so cool how you can get any answer you want from any question you ask).
“Tomorrow is the most important thing in life. Comes into us at midnight very clean. It’s perfect when it arrives and it puts itself in our hands. It hopes we’ve learned something from yesterday.”
I come from a family of B's. My best friend(s) are AB and B. My former roommate was O. I cannot think of any A's that I know very closely.
B's ad AB's are so rare, I seem to be able to smell them. I immediately find the B / AB and make friends with them.
I wish I could make friends with a type A. My supervisor at work is an attractive woman who looks a bit like GT3 or GT5. She is a slim, I would dare say svelte, brunette. She is very Jewish looking, something I tend to think is sexy. Her name is Jewish also. I think I will ask her if she could start sexually harassing me soon...
O's are not risk takers - no, I would say that we are very purposeful, calm and thorough in what we do, but we are prone to being lethargic at times. We need heroic goals to get motivated. At least I am that way.
My roommate is a GT1, a hunter. He works as a male model. Women go psycho for him. They typically hate me, because I have bonded with him in a way they never will. Women are like tissue paper to him, totally disposable. They service his lusts and he dumps them when convenient. His rule - they pay for everything.
He is O like me, but he absolutely must be the center of attention at all points of time. I tend to be more the gentleman, while he is the player.
Funny thing is, before he became a "model" he was totally into this bar tender at the bar down the street. He just craved her attention, but she saw him with these other women that he took to the bar, and would not go for him. Later, he goes to a modeling shoot, and she is the woman model, he the man! Ha ha. She still would not go out with him. That was funny. That after having to act romantic around her, holding her by the waist... laughing into the camera... ha ha ha.
I get angry to some unconsiderate hurtful remarks of hunters and a little bit of explorers. Warriors are not totally easy but I can deal well with them. My two cents !
I have noticed key similarities in the people who seems to misunderstand me ( thought processes, esp.) I seem least compatible with Hunters and Warriors, although I like them as people no less. Never met a Nomad I didn't get along with, either!
What about you? Has anyone besides me experiences this?
Well... Being an A and a Warrior I can attest to the things people are saying about me! lol
Yes yes... too sensitive, blah blah, takes things personally when they aren't meant to be that way, I'm elusive and somewhat a hermit.
Saying that though... People either really love me and love me for life or just don't have anything to do with me. I love people fiercely, passionately and will everything that I am and forgive and forget a lot more than I should.
With each blood type there are upside and downsides.
I find O's to be rather unintuitive and as Massage Therapists or energy healers, less effective than A's due to this factor. They are really good at business though and last a lot longer in those careers because they are better at making money than A's are. I feel bad asking people for money. It took me years to finally be able to charge what I was really worth. I do pour my whole self into taking care of people. Which makes me burn out way quicker than an O.
B's to me seem to hold all their anger in until they explode. Their happiness all the time makes me sick cause I can tell there is something lurking underneath. lol But they are hard working and if you want something done really well... ask a B to do it. It might not be done until next year, but it will be perfect!
AB's are crazy! I can say that because everyone in my family but me is an AB. Except for my Dad (A) and Stepdad (B). They are more eccentric than A's, have a harder time holding a job and sticking to anythings. Not generally good at finishing anything. But they love to start new projects.
Now that I've offended all the blood types except mine... lol yep, see... told you! I'm totally an A!!! And a Warrior! tee hee
Pigeon holing all blood types is like following a horoscope. Yes you might find some truth in it, but truth is found by anyone searching for it. That's just how it works.
My good friends (who know their blood type) are mostly Os and As.
Interesting, as the Japanese compatibility charts say the Os get along best with Os and ABs.
My DH is an AB.

Hey, Christy, I'm happy all the time but I don't have anything lurking beneath the surface. Just wanted to set the record straight on that one. However, you are right on about a B getting things done except when I procrastinate.
My Mom is same as me. (we are close) Dad is 0-....we have great discussions. My husband...0+....true love (married 36 years)! My 2 very best friends...both 0+....known one another over 40 years!
