I GOT AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE FRIDAY SHIFT ON MARCH 12TH!!!!!!!!
Yes, I'm talking loudly. First I called Barbara for the regular appointment and she was so kind. I figured there was no way in the next few months there would be a shift visit open. Well, I then called to find out for sure and Abbey (sp?) told me indeed there was one on March 12th.
I'm so excited!!!!
Oh and if you look at my avatar I now have my secretor status. I'm a secretor! No offense to the nonnies but I have so many darn strikes against me I was a little relieved to be a little more "run of the mill".
I also mapped out a plan for my eating and exercise and see that I eat too much animal protein still and not enough grain or legume/beans. I'll increase the veggies slowly as I seem to be having trouble with a little sore tummy from the changes. I also see that I need to decrease my cardio and increase my weights.
Thanks everyone for your support! It made a difference. |

I know that diffy went to Bridgeport clinic I haven't seen her in a while, but she has thyroid issues and Dr. recommended that she see a particular Endo in Conn. I am really just trying to save you time, if Dr. D tells you do see the this Endo it will take about a year to get an appointment, but if you make the appointment now you can save some time. You can always cancel after you see Dr. D.. and the interns. Something to think about |

Thanks Everyone!
Andrea - Ok...I will get on that! I guess my reluctance is the far visit for an endo. Doesn't seem like I could follow up every 6 months like I do with mine...

He would give you direction and then you could take it from there with someone closer. They may even know someone closer that will follow you.
Like I said you can always cancel.
Ask if you can get the lab tests in advance and bring them with you. ( you may be able to do with with your visit with Dr. D?)

That's great Lori! Can't wait to hear how it goes. So glad you are a secretor for the reasons you stated, nothing against our dear "nonnies!" |

Congrats on all front, Soulful-L!
Tell Dr. D. Peppermint says hey! ...On second thought, don't waste your precious time delivering messages, use it to discuss all things Soulful-L! I'm sure you'll come away with some very helpful insights and guidance. All the feedback I've ever heard over the years from folks who have gone to Dr. D.'s practice (not that you are going there, but you will be seeing him) is that he and everyone who works there are very thorough, caring, and they take time with you. Given that it has taken me my entire life to finally find a primary care doc like that, I think that is a very rare thing. Add to that, that Dr. D. is a Naturopath by orientation and training, and you, my friend, are in for one fabulous Magical Mystery Tour!
We want a full report here afterwards! |
