Ok, after all my hysterical posts yesterday I decided to pull myself together and actually make a decision.

My original plan was to do LR4YT for a few months and save teh $$$ and go see Dr. D to really refine my plan.  Well, after getting my thyroid results and having a very difficult week this week with coldness, fatigue and stomach issues, I decided I must do something now!  I can't play around on my own.  I need real guidance.

Here's my question...do I go to Dr. D first and then go find a new thyroid doc?  

I found a thyroid doc in North Jersey who is an MD but does approach things from a hollistic standpoint.  My fear is if I go to him first and he suggests supps that aren't for my blood type I'm making matters worse.  At the same time if I go to Dr. D and my thyroid med is not right (synthroid), I might not benefit as much from his help at that time.  Or is that wrong thinking?

My heart tells me to see Dr. D first.

We don't have the cash right now but my hubby doesn't want me to suffer any longer than I have to and has offered to sell a few things to get the money.  I am very moved by his offer and feel more than ever I am moving in the right direction.

So, what would you do first?

Follow your Heart.  Dr. D is my vote of confidence.

Dr. D has a Endocrinologist that uses his SWAMi software, in Conn. It may take awhile to get an appointment with this particular endo. Call Dr. D's office in Conn and ask Barbara for his name. Make the appointment now before you see Dr. D.

In the meantime go to see Dr. D at the clinic at the University of Bridgeport, bring all your lab tests. If you can't make an appointment ( because it is full) ask if you can be notified of any cancellations and be ready at short notice.
Dr. D and his team of interns only see patients on Fridays at the University.

ya see, we don't need only specialist.. they often oversee something but we need clearsightness likewise with and from Dr. D. so far.. he is used to work over more then one level so far I only can recommend... go..go..goooo for the visit ...

Well I, for one, would like to hear all about your visit.  I feel we have a vested interest in your well being.

Absolutely...follow your heart.  I find over and over again that when I make a decision from the heart, the universe practically trips over itself to make it a reality...and all the obstacles that I though were there just disappear.... Please let us know how it goes!  I've had thryroid problems..well, probably since I was a kid.  But I recently was able to stop all my thyroid meds with naturopathic methods.  I wish the same for you....balance and joy!  You'll get there...just keep searching...and keep trusting yourself!

I also think Dr. D. would approach the entire you and let you know if he thought the situation was dire enough to require a specialist...

I have benefitted so much from Dr. D.'s writings that I made sure my practitioner doesn't recommend supplements that are not right for my type...

Thanks everyone, you're votes pushed me to do the right thing.  It takes a village to raise this kid.
