It has been a while since I posted on the forum. I fell off the bandwagon for a period of time, well not fell off exactly, more like I sort of dangled off the side...
When I first started the BTD I followed it to the letter. Then for a while I loosened up about it (avocados, bacon and the very occasional corn chip) but I want to stop cheating with those.
I just recently did a wonderful herbal detox and my body is happier than ever, it is time to keep up the increased health with the BTD!
Ok, in other news... I have recently fallen in love with taking Cayenne as a health care supplement! I am taking the capsules, because I am too wimpy to take a 1/4 tsp with water even though that is recommended, but I am still having great results.
I researched Cayenne's health benefits on the Internet and it seems to be a powerhouse. Anyone else take it? |

http://www.dadamo.com/protocols/4.htmlcheck the protocol index for more targeted sups as well.... there are other sups as well which have positive anti inflammatory effects in a B physiology. |

Thanks Lola! I will check those out. I am using SparkPeople.com to track my calories for weight loss... and I recently used their forum to ask if other people had a detoxification routine and 90% of the responses were to the theme that I was nuts. It made me miss how supportive the forum's here are, so like the smart person that I am... I came back. |

Don't you just love it. NOT. All the better for you for doing the detox. Welcome back OneHorseFarms. Great to hear you are sitting up straight in that wagon again. Debra |

I've never heard of taking Cayenne as a supplement. But, when I eat something that feels like it poisoned my system I always crave hot pepers including red pepper flakes and Cayenne pepper after. It seems to really help me. |

I use between 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoonful a day. (I use to 40,000 Heat Units I bought from a HFS. I was on oxygen 24/7 was able to get completely off of it, mostly because of cayenne pepper, It broke up the green mucus that was laying in the bottom third of each lung.
If I have just the slightest thickness of saliva I make sure I add cayenne pepper, still today, even though it has been two years since I've been completely off of oxygen during the day and 1 year off of it at night, maybe even longer,
I hardly ever cough now, I use to have a habit of coughing. No More! |

I season with it regularly. |
| My SWAMI diet is a blend of BTD and GTD Explorer, but I'm not totally compliant. Also I try to choose foods that have a Low Glycemic index. DW and DD are A+, probably also Explorer. |

My B husband is addicted to Tabasco. In such amounts that I think it could be considered a supplement. |

I also cook with it, but don't take it as a supplement. I probably eat an average of 1/4 teaspoon a day, mostly in my morning eggs. I figure I'm eating it in large enough quantities that I don't need to worry about taking it as a supplement. |
