I have pesky Hey Fever, and therefore Dairy and especially Wheat Gluten are a pain even more so on the already restricted vegetarian approach of type A.

I am healthy and young, yet have allergies. To get rid of these allergies, is it best to stick to Tier 1 and avoid wheat gluten and most dairy or go all the way and add Tier 2 avoids?

I have pretty bad hayfever/mold/dust/pet dander allergies.  If I just stay away from wheat and dairy I can pretty much tolerate all of them without having to be doped up on Benedryl all the time, and when they get bad I can just take a half a dose (12.5mg).  When I say "tolerate" I don't mean they are totally gone, just that I can function okay without being miserable or ending up with a sinus infection or snoring all night long.  You might try tier 1 for a little while and see if you've improved enough to be happy with that, and then if you find you're not satisfied move up a level.

I d follow the allergies book recommendations for a reasonable time,
but first I d find out my secretor status to do it right.....
great protocols to follow are in that book!

Ok thanks for the information. I went to my acupuncturist recently for a series of treatments and it works great. But the cause is the food and that's what needs to be remedied

I have been following my "O" diet for a few weeks now, just tier 1, but there has been a pretty significant improvement in my allergies.I am planning on trying tier 2 eventually myself, but personally, I find when I make huge changes all at once, I am less likely to stick to it, so I'm easing my way in a bit! Don't know my secreter status yet either...

Yes, avoiding the Tier 2 avoids and treating the Tier 2 beneficials as neutral could be helpful. Concentrate on the Tier 1 beneficials as you can.

The suggestion to use the Allergies Health Series book is an excellent idea and would take precedence over the tier approach.
