I tried using the link to Nat'l Geo and received the following message:
Secure Connection Failed

www3.nationalgeographic.com uses an invalid security certificate.

The certificate is only valid for a248.e.akamai.net

(Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)

Or you can add an exception…

Thx.   CB

I just tried the website you posted and had no problems.

Earlier today I had problems on a different website and I had to check my pricacy settings and cookie allowance.  So maybe it is your computer’s security system that is blocking the site.

I was thinking about coughing up $399 for 23 and Me's Y-chromosome test with health factors and genealogy. Plus $99 bucks for National Geographic's mitochondrial test and we're talking serious bucks.

Of course, I could just check my fingerprint patterns and learn as much or more about risk factors. For the record I've got 7 ulnar loops, 1 arch,  1 whorl, and 1 asymmetrical radial loop on my right index finger which is also shorter than my left index. Oh, and some white lines too. Lots of solid leads for you genetic detectives out there
