If you add a (generous) pinch of sea salt to the warm/hot lemon water, it cuts the acid and tastes good (to me). |

I've tried it many times over the years because I've heard many times how good it is supposed to be. Every time I try, I end up constipated...lol....nothing gets things moving like a cup of coffee first thing in the morning! |

Not hot water, but from the tap, which here is not very cold, nor very warm. I started it because it was suggested on this site, and I must say I feel good doing it. I have my own lemon tree in the yard, so the first thing in the morning I go out pick one and put it in my water. |

Yes - every morning and I love it! It gets my bowels moving (sorry to be graphic) and gets my sinuses to give up the goods as well. So I start the day emptied and refreshed |

I can't do straight lemon and water or it hurts my stomach. I do add some fresh lemon juice to my smoothie every morning though. Gives it a nice zing! |

You need this as a choice in your poll: "I've tried and I HATE it!" That would be me. I HATE water with lemon at any temperature. I don't like it by itself. I don't like it with honey. I don't like it with salt. I do NOT like it, Sam I Am! blech....just thinking about it makes me shudder......
hahah That's exactly how I feel about wheat grass! I CANT STAND it. YUCK. Just smelling it makes me gag. |

I agree with chrissyA. Dr. D. instructed A's to drink it every morning mixed with warm water. That's how I drink mine.
Would someone please share with me how to copy from another post and make it show up framed like a lot of you do? |

See where it says "quote" or "report to moderator"? Hit "quote" and it brings that text to the box you're going to type in. Start typing right under the words that have been copied. If you only want a portion of the other person's quote to appear in your post, notice when you hit quote that there is going to be the word {quote} and it's going to appear at the beginning and at the end of someone's quote. Make sure those two quote words stay within the text...and to remove anything you don't want, just highlight and click delete.....leaving the portion of someone's quote that you wish to leave. You might want to hit "preview" after doing this to see if it worked. Try it with this post.....and see if it works. Good luck |

Make sure those two quote words, including everything within (and including) the brackets, stay within the text...
Added the bold, underlined portion to clarify... Hopefully, to shorten the learning curve! |

You should put new text outside the quote tags... It isn't part of the quote... Your first example was more correct in this regard... |

If you add a (generous) pinch of sea salt to the warm/hot lemon water, it cuts the acid and tastes good (to me).
I do something similar, I add baking soda (instead of salt) to buffer the acid. To a glass with juice of 1/2 lemon, add 1/4 tsp. baking soda and wait until it stops fizzing then add 4 to 6 oz. of water. (For a whole lemon you can add 1/2 tsp. baking soda.) I had the burning stomach from lemon juice until I learned to buffer it with baking soda. I do this with cranberry juice also. |

Mucus can be caused by many things. If you're still eating avoids, that can cause mucus. If you've recently cleaned up your diet, you may have lingering mucus from your prior bad diet. Mucus can also be from seasonal allergies or viruses/colds. |

From what I gathered in ER4YT, Dr. D. wanted A's to do it every morning to break up mucus that we tend to accumulate quite easily (especially when consuming wrong dairy or too much dairy. Also, I came to learn that lemon juice helps thin A's thick blood. I think that also came from Dr. D., but can't be certain. I read so much. I know Dr. D. brought out that O's have thin blood naturally. I can't imagine that a daily regimen of lemon water for them would be advised. |

I just drink it in room temperature water as I don't see a difference when I use hot water and I'd rather not have to take the extra time to heat up the water before drinking it. It seems to have the same effect either way. |
