following this life style will cleanse your body gradually, in a healthy way.....at least it has worked for me, but I am pretty strict with myself and compliant.

Ever since August of last year, I have been faithfully watching this program on television.  I have Dish Network, but I know it is also shown on Direct TV.  The program is called Know The Cause.  The host, Doug Kaufmann, firmly believes so many today's illnesses stem from mold, yeast, fungus.  He recommends this antifungul diet called Phase One.  It is also supposed to help with the inflammation in your body which causes so many other problems.

Here is the Phase One Diet.  I am sure it can be done together with your particular blood type.

This is information from http://www.knowthecause.com

!.  All sugars excluded, nada, net, nothing with sugar

2.    Artificial and herbal sweeteners:  Only Stevia and Stevia Plus are allowed

3.   Fruits:  Green apples, berries, avocados, grapefruit, lemons, limes and fresh coconut and the water/juice from coconut.  No other fruit is allowed, including fruit juices.

4.  Meat:  Virtually all meats, including fish, poultry and beef.  If you can buy organic grass fed meats. Uncured bacon is okay.

5.  Eggs:  Yes, all types allowed, organic grass fed/free range is best.  Avoid egg substitutes

6.  Dairy:  Butter and yogurt, ( organic is best)  sparingly: cream cheese, organic, sunsweetened whipping cream and  organic real sour cream.  All other, including margarine and any of the butter substitutes.  Whole Foods has an organic greek-style yogurt that is excellent.

7.  Vegetables,  Most fresh, unblemished vegetables and freshly made vegetable juice.  Drink daily 8-10oz of fresh carrot juice with 1/2 teaspoon of raw apple cider vinegar.  NO, potatoes and no beans or peas.

8.  Beverages:  Bottled or filtered water, non fruity, herb teas, Stevia-sweetened, fresh lemonage or lime-aide.   No coffee and tea including decaf and regular or diet sodas

9.  Grains:  Zero grains allowed.   Pasta, rice, corn, wheat, quinoa, amaranth, millet, buckwheat, oats and barley.

10.  Yeast Products:  No yeast allowed   All are excluded, as are bread, mushrooms, pasteries and alcohol.

11.  Vinegars:  Unpasteurized apple cider raw vinegar, black olives not aged in vinegar.  No pickles, salad dressings, green olives and soy sauce.

12,  Oils:  Olive, grape or flax seed and virgin coconut.  Coldpressed is best and organic.  No Partially-hydrogenated ("trans"0 oils, corn and peanut oil

13,  Nuts:  Raw nuts, including pecans, almonds, walnuts, cashews, pumpkin seeds   No peanuts and all peanut products and pistachios are excluded.

Also take a good priobotic daily along with a psyllum powder

I forgot to mention this, but if you go to the www.knowthecause  website, you can view the daily show that is streamlined there.

This man, Doug Kaufmann, is one of my heros and what he says, in my opinion is spot on.

Maldo for me the best way is Dr. D protocol:

http://www.dadamo.com/protocols/19.html

Hepatiguard from NAP is a good supp.
http://www.4yourtype.com/prodinfo.asp?number=NP043

My Naturopath always recommended 1 cap. just 5 min. before meal.

Google the liver/gall bladder flush!  I could never keep candida away, no matter what, until I discovered I had an extremely congested liver.

I remember reading somewhere by Dr D that our liver ducts have lectins in them that trap bacteria, etc.  So it makes sense that if you have stones or whatever you want to call them, then you won't be able to restore proper balance.

Eric, I also read in my Spanish book ER4YT, that fatigue is a liver problem and not Autoimmune disease. Dr. D explain the same about ducts and lectins....So interesting!!!

This is very interesting to me...I had "gallbladder problems" about 6-7 years ago. I've also had elevated liver enzymes for at least 15 years (always high AlkPhos, occasionally GGT is elevated, too). I've been ultrasounded and even had the radioactive dye test where they shoot you up with stuff to force your gallbladder to contract. They said they didn't see any stones, but it revealed that my gall bladder doesn't empty like it is supposed to.

The liver cleanse would probably be good for me, but I would not be comfortable doing it without medical supervision. There's an integrative medicine practitioner here, but can't afford her right now! (She doesn't take insurance.)

Added: Oh, my GYN thinks I may have "fatty liver."

there s a light liver cleanse in the book which might help....
nothing as drastic as a liver/gallbladder cleanse....

My sister had a liver transplant. My daughter had a gall bladder removed... Does any of this help you 'feel more comfortable' about doing the liver cleanse.  I sincerley belive if either one of them would listen to me they wouldn't have needed surgury. I recommmend Hulda Clark's liver cleanse.  I've done about 20 over 10 years. Best to clean out candida b4 doing it and it's a breese then. If you don't, you'll have discomfort .. But that's all... It's like going to a chiropractor. Sometimes it's a little painful. But it staves off much larger problems...

Everybody in my husband's family, except him, has gall bladder problems.  They're all gigantic too.  DH is very slim.  At any rate, I feel like I'm protecting my kids from all those problems by feeding them right.

Interesting development... I decided to jump in slowly with the liver cleanse stuff and start with an herbal liver supplement... but I stopped taking it a few days ago.

I do have a lot of respiratory allergies, but not usually this bad... what I was feeling from it was like an intensified allergic reaction, with eye and sinus symptoms. I think it was the burdock (Solaray Liver Blend SP-13).

I believe I saw some guidelines for liver cleanse in LR4YT (?), I will investigate closer. Good heavens.

I do plan to have secretor status tested as soon as I can conjure up a spare $50.   Explorer, I dunno... the little problems I have don't seem severe enough to put me into Explorer category. Or maybe that's a perception thing on my part? Based on the book instructions and NAP website info, I strongly suspect I'm a Gatherer.

You are female with O+ blood. If your fingers indicate gatherer, secretor status doesn't affect your GT.

Several of my siblings have had gall bladder problems, me included.  We are all thin, but diet has helped reduce the problem rate and severity.  I'm still cleaning out the garbage, so I still take Deflect, Hepatigard and Intrinsa to continue the healing process.

I know that I am healing now rather than getting worse...  I just don't know how long it will take...

Respectfully but honestly, no. What happened to your family wouldn't necessarily happen to me, so that's not really related to my own comfort level.

One thing that might help is for me to know what to expect during the cleanse, so if I had any symptoms that seemed quite "abnormal" I could respond accordingly. Of course, before undertaking this, I'll do the homework from a medical standpoint... but would also like to read peoples' anecdotal experiences about what happens *during* a cleanse, too. Or if y'all know/experienced anything that bears repeating on this thread, great!

As I've been reading and absorbing the BTD/GTD info, I'm wondering if my high AlkPhos could be related to my previous veg*nism (I was either vegetarian or vegan for about 15 years). If I understood right, AlkPhos in the intestine has something to do with digesting meat?
