A couple off weeks out from my colonic and finding olive leaf as a fighter of candida and I 've come to realize no matter what I find to help clean out the candida I'm going to have to follow a strict diet. I know, that's been said here again and again. But I guess there's this cloudy thinking that goes with these monsters that can lead you to think there's a majic pill with no effort required on my part. Neway. What has the jury decided on threelac or fivelac? Yea or nay? Also are rice noodles ok while on this regimine or should I avoid those as well? I'm x ing the wine, cheese, compliant cookies that I like and all fruits and juices. Geez, when you say it all together like that in addition to the avoids I have to contend with ..what's the point of an oral fixated Italian to continue to live.. I got rid of my mercury around '02 and I guess I got cocky thinking I had it licked for good. This time around I'm ditching any nonstick cookery and switchint to plastic untensils (that's assuming there is anythng I can eat with untensils left). Any suggestions on cookware that wont' help kill me? It'd be wonderful to start dating again but I can't even get to second base with my health. And I'm tired of being alone. |

Seaweed noodles may be nice. I haven't tried them yet but always check ingredients first.

The Genotype diets are designed with our weakness in mind. O's tend to have trouble with Candida, I believe the hunter's in particular, suffer the worst. The foods on the list are designed to heal not just keep it under control. So a balance of feeding the good bacteria to keep the others in control, is essential. If you are eating any avoids, those should be the first to be eliminated. Along with taking a blood type specific probiotic and following the blood type protocols which are limited to a certain amount of time.. Just my two cents. |

I think basmati has lower GI than noodles made of white rice. Brown rice vermicelli looks interesting. Lower GI suits me at least. Polyflora should be the safest choice as it's blood type specific and looks like it has some additional ingredients that would help. |

hi Artspooner, if you are an Italian in Italy I find Rice & Rice brown rice fusilli good and I'll try quickly also their spaghetti, as Scotti firm makes a new rice pasta with rice germ, that should be nearly beneficial for gammaoryzanol. I use more often brown rice and quinoa plain with different veggies, meats and mostly fishes. Your and my genotype have also corn as a black dot so you can try KI Molino di ferro organic corn noodles, that satisfy me an italian pasta lover for more than 40 years! I try to keep it seldom ... Best wishes for quick results in your candida fight. As for cooking I am using some stainless steel and sometimes teflon cookware ( the hard and resistent one), but I am still trying to use just pirex in the owen and stainless steel on the stovetop. Thanks. I have some brown rice pasta and I'm glad to hear I can use it..and I hope with some homemade peeled tomato sauce..?
I'm an Italian in the US. My grandfather came over on Nov 22, 1901 on the Lombardia at the age of 20 and a single man. I was able to find the ship manifest with my grandfather and his brothers name on it. My family is from Montemelleto, Italy. My father wanted to almost kill me when I was stationed in Germany when I was 21 and didn't go to visit our home town. I'm getting my passport before the rules change in the next 70 days and I'm going over as soon as I get most of this fight behind me. That is one of the things that keeps me going. I want to FULLY experience it, with the whispers of my ancestors in my ears, when I go and not have to see it through a cloud. Thanks again.. |

Thanks. I'm trying to quit red wine completely. Quitting avoids is easy compared to giving up that. I was thin when I started back drinking it again in 2003 and now I'm back in a fight again. It's just that it relaxes me so much from a stressful commision only sales job. I don't think I can beat this and keep the wine. I'd like to have both. But I don't see how. |

Google the liver/gall bladder flush! I could never keep candida away, no matter what, until I discovered I had an extremely congested liver.
I remember reading somewhere by Dr D that our liver ducts have lectins in them that trap bacteria, etc. So it makes sense that if you have stones or whatever you want to call them, then you won't be able to restore proper balance. |

Thanks .. I plan on doing a hulda clark liver flush tomorrow. I've done them in the past and they helped when I was being a good boy. But this go round, without stopping the drinking and proper diet they weren't getting me along to where I needed to go.
I found this interesting page with a reciepe I will try on tues after I recover from my liver cleanse. http://www.wholeapproach.com/candida/treatment.php |

I have one more adult question to ask and I'm not sure how to put it. But let's say if you are a male in a traditional relationship and you are the enthusiastic type. And you want to do everything to make your lady friend happy. Is this a receipe for continued reinfection or more flareups? I don't see it on the list of potential causes for candida when I google it. Maybe I can slip a piece of litmus paper in there before hand? I'd like to fully participate in life whenever I start living again. But not if it's going to cause me to be a zombie. Ok.. enough with the junior Soprano.Forgive me if I offended anyone. . |

Forget the psyllium part and use ARA instead - much better for you, I think. I seem to remember Polyflora has ARA and brewers yeast as additional ingredients. My Warrioress always reminds me that I may have infected her with yeast infection when her skin rarely shows even the tiniest symptoms |

No deleting this call it a Ping-Pong infection, and see what comes up on google. Anyway to get your Lady to join you on the journey to heal the candida? Anyway you might try the Health Protocols over Hulda Clark? Much gentler and possibly more long lasting in effect. http://www.dadamo.com/protocols/ |

Right. My husband and I ping-ponged until we went on the GTD. Neither of us have had trouble since. |

Best offer I've had in a long time. Or maybe I've had offers but I was too much in a fog to know which end was up... Oops ..I meant that in a good way..I can't believe how low the airfares are to Europe now. I hope I can get my act together soon before the dollar really falls apart. |

The 8 am drink of epsom salt is the one I look forward to. Then I know it's done at least for awhile. I've been doing an average of 2 liver cleanses a year since 2000. This one had the best results as far as what came out. I stepped ouside my door to get my newspaper and my senses were flooded with things I had forgotten. The smells, the birds. Very few things beat the high that comes with a successful liver cleanse.
My main goal this time is to not repeat the mistakes of the past like getting involved with people, places and things that aren't good for me. That way I won't have to go through all this again. I can't say how many times I've fallen and had to climb back up. You get to the point where you realize, ok, I get it lesson learned. At least this time I hope.
I'd like to one day play a trick on someone who is uninitiated to cleanses; And after a liver cleanse show them what was in my toilet and say 'Does this look normal to you.?' I think, maybe, you should take me to the hospital. |

Man, this is so true. The way I feel after a good liver cleans is incredible! Just like you said, I remember even things like emotions that I had forgotten since childhood. It's like it opens up your soul. Maybe that only happens if you're just really toxic :/ |

I was discussing this yesterday with my colon hydrotherapist. I said 'maybe some day in the future they will combine psychiatric counseling with colonics and liver cleanses' because of the things I was talking about with her. I think it'd be a good way to cleanse everything at once and get to the real root of the problem quicker. I think our country is too repressed and a long way from even considering something like this. |
