well the staples of my diet are smoothies (pineapple, banana, yogurt, flax or hemp seed, blueberries, soy milk, spinach) juice (carrots, lemon, celery, cucumber, spinach) 6 or so eggs a week rice cereal with soy milk ezekial bread with almond butter, nutella, or peanut butter and honey tofu pad thai noodles with peanut sacue
so all in all, maybe not enough calories. but often, when i do eat a lot of calories(say refried beans on corn tortilla, with peanut butter jelly sandwhich and glass soy milk) i'll get sluggish afterward.
no health problems i'm aware of. |

Having your secretor status would make a difference. Have you read the Live Right for Your Type Book, or the most recent book by Dr. D the Genotype diet?

A non secretors have higher protein requirements, and some of the foods change value based on the results. The A's have the most profound difference between secretor and non secretor.
The Live Right book has details about secretor status. |

typebase has all the updated food values check out the differences in values for secretors and non secretors.... http://www.dadamo.com/typebase4/typeindexer.htmbeginning with soy always check the ingredients listed in the back of the products you purchase, like the soy milk and the pn...etc you will learn to detect additives added, which are not compatible for your type. |

I believe some labs are able to do the A1/A2 test (for a fee) at the same time as you have the secretor/non-secretor test done. Also in the past the Australian Blood Bank used to do it automatically, but possibly don't anymore. You need to make some phone calls around your state I would think. the A1/A2 might make a small difference in animal products, as you will see from the Live right book. |

that is called a serotype panel...... a complete blood test, giving you your subtype, RH factor, and secretor status also your MN status |

I suggest Southwest Naturopathic Medical Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ. 480-970-0000 http://www.scnm.edu/medcenter/laboratory.phpRequest a "Serotype panel" This will confirm your Blood Type Rh factor Tell you Lewis group (determines secretor status) It will also tell your subtype A1 or A2 as well as MM, NN, or MN |

Thanks, C-SHARP. Southwest was the only one I could find on internet search (what a chore). Will contact. Too bad I already did secretor test independently. Not so economical. |
