I have a slight dilemma - I am Blood Group O secretor and fairly healthy for my age and follow compliantly most of the time. As I am getting on in years - age 63 do I follow the food lists from the Ageing Book? I have osteoarthritus in my knees  - do I follow the lists in the Arthritus book - I think I may be a Hunter Genotype so do I follow the food lists in that book - having written out all the lists side by side none of them totally agree so which way do I go - Ifind it very confusing - help please!!

Hi Speedy, I'do in this way; arthritis book avoids, GTD hunter toxins out of my diet together with avoiding infrequent neutrals and emphasizing superbeneficial (arthritis book) and diamonds (GTD Hunter).
If you try this you should have the best results, but check well if  you are a hunter !
Hope it helps !

Someone ask a similar question a while back. Mikeo said to follow the Health Library's book values for the major stuff (page 49 for O's in the Arthritis book) and use the GTD values for everything else to blend the two diets until we get SWAMI.

OK I guess I was just trying too hard - avoiding all black dots, avoid  all bad neutrals and the odd benificial that didn't agree with me - I cant take Ghee or Butter or any of the cheeses - any dairy foods make me have catarrh and bad headaches and so of course by eliminating so much my food was so restrictive and boring and that's not what it's all about is it - we are meant to enjoy our food as well as it being good for us - its seems to me that there are so many variants and at the end of the day we all are individuals and no one programme suits all
