Hello everyone. Just this week my husband typed his blood and he is not the B+ he thought, but rather an A+ which makes cooking at our house sooo much easier.  I would like to find out secretor status for him and our daughters as well. If we start with DH and he turns out to be a non-secretor would we still need to test the kids or would they automatically be nonnies as well? |

wow, it's amazing how many people aren't the b/t they think they are! Makes me wonder if I should check mine but since I've had like 7 operations, shouldn't they be sure I'm an O? they have to know right? especially w/ my liver resection. we had blood from me and my brother standing by. ???????? But YAY!!! for you that you are both A!!!  |

Thanks for the quick help! I'll head over and order a test for DH and see where that leads. The girls will both need testing if Dad is a secretor as they are not identical (even though most folks think they are  ). IB, I have no idea why he always thought he was a "B". He can't remember having been told his bloodtype, even though he has had surgery. It's nice to know that all the years of me feeding him a fairly "A" compliant diet have done him more good then harm  I think you can safely assume you are an O . I've been typed several times. By my OB clinic and then at the hospital as well. The kids were typed at birth because of my RH- status. So I've just trusted that it was correct. |
