I'm searching for a local practitioner who can help me achieve my health goals. I visited a Osteopathic physician in Barbados - http://www.themaasclinic.com - who did several tests on me including a c13 (right in his office), live blood analysis, and urine. He then prescribed a short-term diet plan based on that. A trip to B'dos is quite expensive though. Are Naturopahts in the US allowed to order blood chemistry tests in the US? I'm really not sure who I should go to. |

If you are up for a trip why not visit Peter D'Adamo in his office in Connecticut. |

I suppose they could order tests. There is a lab called Great Smokies [or Smoky] that does tests for chiros, so I assume it will do them for others. |

It will vary from state to state based on that states laws and licensing. There are two states where Naturopathic practice is illegal, and non-MD's are limited in many (most) others... On the other hand, in some states you can request a lab test without physician refferal. I go to a place that just collects samples and sends them to the lab. It's much less expensive than going through a physician's office, my MD lets me do this for the tests he requests. |
