Hi, I have Dr D'Adamo's 'Eat Right 4 Your Type' and I am confused on the issue of chlorophyll and alfalfa. In my Type O diet it says to strictly avoid alfalfa. Also on page 228 it says to avoid alfalfa as a means for treating arthritis. But on page 236 it recommends liquid chlorophyll suppliments before a major operation. I have searched the entire internet and cannot find a liquid chlorophyll that is not made from alfalfa. Could you please let me know if the substance that Type O's are not meant to have in alfalfa is absent from the liquid chlorophyll. I thought maybe it was somehow removed in the process of extracting the chlorophyll and that is why it is recommended. Otherwise I do not understand why it has been. I would really like to know if I can take the liquid chlorophyll without breaking my Type O diet, as I am very sick at the moment. Your help would be greatly appreciated. Angelina. p.s. I live in Australia.
I use a liquid chlorophyll derived from nettle. It is from Herbs, Etc. Sante Fe, NM 87507 http://www.herbsetc.com The name of the product is ChlorOxygen. Not sure if you can find it where you live.
You can let everyone know you are an O type by clicking on the link to the member center at the top right of this web page and selecting the appropriate avatar. You may also input other personal information such as age and sex if you choose.
