I myself don't have any problems sleeping, but my AB husband often wakes up at 2 or 3am and can't get back to sleep. I think his mind is just go go go all of the time! He has recently given up coffee and is drinking green tea. He is careful about limiting any caffine consumption in the afternoons. Is there anything from Dr. D's medicine cabinet that helps with sleep? Sometimes he drinks Sleepytime Tea at night, but he hasn't in awhile. Any suggestions?? or old threads dealing with AB sleep problems? ( I still can't make the archives section work for me.. even with suggestions from you all) |

Hi SheriBerry, I have been having this same problem lately and have been blaming it on the season change and full moon we had last week. there are supplements that one can take Melatonin is one I have used in the past. I can have NO tea or coffee after noon and if I eat to late in the evening this will give me trouble sometimes |

The Anti-stress protocol suggests wild oats. You might also look at Detoxification and Liver Support protocols as well. |

Oh Isa, so funny I was reading the tread and as soon as between 2 and 3 am was mentioned I knew it was the liver. I learned that from Dr.Steven Aung my acupunturist. I would try a liver detox...Dandelion for sure...Could be the liver is detoxing from getting rid of the coffee... |

5HTP is a form of a plant based tryptophan enhancer (serotonin booster ) , it's taken against depression :.... and works marvellously just for A's and AB's as well, coz it seems not to work that fine for O's, it was banned in O'treatment, even if Peter wrote for ll nonnies this stuff is amazing ..... |

try to keep away from coffee and see how it works. I take magnesium and Valerian before going to bed. Melatonin might also help restore your circadian rhythm. |

I too usually wake up at the liver meridian hours, for a short of long time - it varies. But when I take Solgar 'calcium magnesium plus boron' or 'calcium magnesium plus zinc' (or both) I sleep through until dawn. Were I only more orderly... |
