I've noticed people referring to sub-groups for BTD (RH-, RH+, type 1, 2, etc.). Where can I find information on these? Was it a recent book of Dr. D's? |

You can find out quite easily if you are + or - by giving blood. You can get a secreter status ( Non secreter or secreter) by going to www.aboessentials.com then click "home testing kits" on the left and finally salivary secreter tests...$ 69.95 includes shipping sample back to the lab. Definately worth it to tweek your diet or if you have substantial health problems that aren't getting resolved. Good luck and hope this helps |

Girly - My RH status is negative. I really need to get my secretor status, but finances are tight. I eat as a nonnie anway (seem to do better that way) and stay away from avoids on the secretor side (even if ok for nonnie). I'll check out the book Lloyd mentions and see what I come up with food wise. And thank you Lola for the link! |

I went on that Scottsdale Arizona website. I found it very confusing. Do you have to physically go there to be tested???
I went to my ND and asked her to order the test and draw my blood. She charged me $175 for all of it; but even so, it was worth it to know. Turns out I'm an NN, which means corn is now an avoid. |
